it's only £150 per quater, works out at £50 per month.

I think Body Shop is difficult to do as a catalogue drop thing, it's to easy for people to get to a store where they don't have to trust you with their money. It's certainly well worth a go though and if you're already registered then there is nothing to stop you trying it.

Thanks for all the hints and tips. I haven't totally decided yet but the parties have been dismal of late and people just don't have the money to spend. I am going to be studying for another qualification soon and have just got a new puppy so time is at a premium. working for the equivalent of less than £5ph is not worth it in my view when I can find other avenues to earn far more than that.

I enjoy doing the parties but it is soul destroying when people say they can only afford to buy the cheapest thing in the catalogue or don't buy at all. As much as I enjoy doing them I want to be earning from it, not just doing it as a hobby.

I am also fed up of people asking me to order stuff for them and then disappearing and not returning my phone calls so I get left with the stuff or taking ages to hand the money in to me. Grrr rant over.

That should be achievable. But like you say as the stuff has to be paid for up front it will be more difficult than Avon or Betterware etc.

I understand about people saying they haven't got much money, it is annoying. I would rather people didn't have the party than think they are doing me a favour by having one and then not spending anything!

me too, my sales in December were terrible and people are just not buying. I am going to work out how much I have actually made after buying supplies etc but have a feeling that it is not much.

I am thinking of selling it off on ebay but would other consultants buy things that were unopened?

Im sorry to hear u r leaving too, im sure othe consultants would buy the stuff unused ??? ive sold sum to my friends but its abit of a pain when u ave sooo much stuff and obviously u dunt want to give them away for nothing as u spend so much on the products yourself !?!

hope u manage to get rid of some things xx

i have to admit girls, i was thinking of quitting too. however i went to our back to work meeting as i took a recruit, as promised wayyyy before xmas, and i have come away with a renewed enthusiasm, and have decided to stay.
i only wish i could help you girls out, by buying some of your stuff!
so if there is anyone close to me who hasnt publicly admitted that they are leaving and wants to get rid of some stuff, please feel free to pm me.

Hi all! I have not posted on these boards very much and and not really sure of the correct etiquette. Is it in order to post my website details to offer a similar self employment opportunity? only with an excellent, established company that has only launched in the UK just over a year ago. There is currently an excellent opportunity for anyone with party plan experience to be in at ground level. Apologies if this is not permitted! I haven't posted the link in case not permitted, but get in touch if this intersts you.

    Best Regards!

Congratulations!! I'm at uni now so this was my way of earning money without compromising study time with a job in the day!

    Good luck!

hi kimkim, I worked out yesterday how much I had made since starting in september and although I have had good sales I have still made a loss of about £30 when I look at the amount of stuff I have bought but on the plus side I won't have to buy any make up or toiletries for the next year!
