Happy New Year girls
We had our back to work day yesterday, which was good fun and we learnt all about the new Host reward scheme, sounds much simpler.
I have signed up for management training, so that should be fun, i just need to recruit a couple more people, so if anyone in the southwest is interested in joining please give me a PM and we can have a chat.
Anyway, glad the system is back up and running, lets hope that we all do really well in 2009Leopardlady

me too, my sales in December were terrible and people are just not buying. I am going to work out how much I have actually made after buying supplies etc but have a feeling that it is not much.
I am thinking of selling it off on ebay but would other consultants buy things that were unopened? If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -
unfortunately opened kit stuff just isn't worth much so I'd suggest that if you are both sure that you're quitting take out whatever you want from your kit, pop the rest into your trolley case (I'm assuming you don't want to keep that?) and set a price. Let us on here know or ask round your AM / local team if anyone wants it. A trolley case can be posted, wrap it in a black sack and a round of tape then take it to the post office - it'll cost £15 ish though depending on weight.
Please remember that all the things that came in your original kit, and anything that you bought from supply/business tools shouldn't be sold on and Body Shop can get you in trouble for it. (not sure how or what thy can do but please be careful and think before you break any rules).
Any extras that you've bought, particually if they are sealed can go on ebay but prizes and incentives shouldn't, and TBSAH do monitor ebay.0 -
I just had another idea - How about a party at your house for your friends where you sell all your stock at half catalogue price (or vary that depending on condition). If anyone wants anything you don't have then you can offer them 10% off and order it if you want, or tell them to go to the store.0

Hi Guys
It is a real shame you are thinking of leaving, I had a bad Dec too, but am going to see what this year brings me.
If you are def leaving then Elliep suggestion of a party sounds good, otherwise contact all the consultants in your area and sell your stuff to them.
Anyway, as i said i am sorry it has not worked out for you, i realised very quickly that this would not be a very quick fix, but i have enjoyed myself, even the really pointless parties. I am going to stick it out and am hoping to hit some targets this month, although it looks like i will have to wait until the end of the month for any parties, but i do have two people really excited, so that is good.
Good luck to those who are leaving, i hope you find something that you can enjoy soon.Leopardlady

try ebay
does anyone know if you can just be a catlouge seller and not do parties?
as i no longer want to do parties but deliver cats like avon?0 -
First of all sorry you are thinking of leaving...
As everyone else has said..EBay or offer the products to your friends/family, look to see if there are any jumble sales around where you could book a table for a fiver maybe.
I don't think you can register to just be a catalogue seller but if you are already registered I don't see why you can't just do catalogue drops, they will go through as parties anyway
Just remember you have to do your £425 per quarter (I think that's how much it is) to stay "active"Married 5th June 20101st Baby born 12th April 2011:j0
