As long as you don't spend the money you make from your parties and don't buy too much stuff as you can win and earn a lot of it you can make as much as you want.

I've been doing it since early October and I really like it and I do as little or as much as I want - you just have to have 6 parties and then it's up to you and you don't get any pressure at all!!
  • oh dear, i know what i'm like with buying stuff i don't need! will have to be strict with myself if i'm gonna do this. it sounds like something i would love to do. hopefully will here back from on-line application soon.
  • hey everyone, im catherine and i just thought it about time that i said hello as ive been reading this forum for about a week now. thinking of joining bsah and wanted to have a look to see how you other ladies are doing, brilliant forum for people like myself!! is there anyone in the midwales area? live in quite a small place so not 100% sure how much potential there would be although closest BS store would be ages away poss shrewsbury or carmarthen ( both min 1 1/2 hr drive). is this a bad time of year to join esp in this climate of the credit crunch etc? im not really a sales person and am just doing it to get out there and meet new people....does this sound like a huge mistake lol? any advice would be greatly appreciated ( im in aberystwyth area btw)

    Hi catherinewales, welcome :)

If you could join through one of us then you could join for 1/2 price and should be able to make the money to pay for it.

It is a slow time of year, but if you can be proactive, you should be able to make a good start of it. I really enjoy it, even when it is slow. Have a look on the first page as there is a list of all of us and i believe there is someone in mid wales who should be able to help.

I do think it is a good thing to try, so good luck :)

  • How many parties have everyone got booked in for this month? I've only got one, did have 2 but 2nd cancelled. Got no more lined up either but to be honest, im not doing the normal 'pushing' to get them. The new host rewards is soooo much better but wish i had something in a hard copy to show ppl at parties
  • Well I've got the vouchers to give out at parties. Not got any bookings from using them though. None of my parties ever seem to go over £200. I've had ones that have scraped the £130 freebie limit and a few which have hit £190 just.

Are there any tips on what sells well when it's demonstrated? I've found that the vitamin c skin boost flies.

    Evening Ladies,

Well iv managed to get 2 booking in this month which is better than the none i had a week ago. Got my finger out my butt and started making some calls.
(plus one of the 2 is my own party! )

I recieved my vouchers this morning, i like the idea and from speaking with my regional manager i think its all about wording it right at parties.
I'll see how i get on with them and report back....!

Salesadmin im surprised your av party sales are so low, mines sit about 200-250.
Do you do a demonstration on the host or nominated person at every party and do a party theme??
It depends on my party theme depends what sells.
Body butters always sell well, and in the summer i find vit e face mist is a big seller, but i love it so rave about it. Lip and cheek stain from the make-up range is a good seller when i do a make up party.
It all depends, i always push the PWP's at my partys and that tends to help my sales too. ;)
  • Hi Everyone

I have my first training day on saturday, Can anyone tell me an idea of what things we will be covering and what I will be learning.

I think party sales rely on 2 things - where you live and how good your host is. Even with the best host coaching a low turnout can be dissapointing... I generally get only 6 at a party and sales of between £130 - £240 which is more frustrating as if I'd had 10 or more sales would have been better!!!
