Thanks for all that! Really helped me:) You are quite right though, I wouldn't want to be including free gifts in every package, but will probably drop one in on big orders.
When you start the party do you explain to everyone that the prices in the catalogue are incorrect as some have seasonal reductions and all are obviously now at 15% VAT? Do you just tell everyone that they should leave this area blank on the booking sheet so you can go through it with them?
Also, what happens if something is unavailable at the time of the party but will be available the following week? Will this be sent to the host in a second shipment? Do you use the out of stock stickers or do you mark these off manually?
Sorry for all the questions:(0 -

I use sample sachets to pop into every orders when they're delivered to me as it's a lot cheaper than incentives:T0 -

What i have done was print off the 15% VAT off the website and then did photocopys of them and at the begaining of every party i give each customer one with a catolugue and let them check as the order but if they have any quiries then tell them to ask me and i help them, that way u arnt dealing with just one person at a time and it saves a whole lot of time too. Also i check the stock update about 10mins be4 i go to a party and write down all things out of stock and when they will come back in stock so if anyone does order them then i let them no the due date and ask if they would like me to order it when it comes in stock. Alternatively you can print this off but i dont have a printer at the min.
I used to be like this when i started, I was suppose to have a party tonite it was 15+ people and im gutted ive being layed in bed for last 4 days poorly with this bug going round so had to get sum1 else to cover it for me, i only need £250 for my SSL3 so im bit gutted but hopefully i can get that on tuesday which is my last party for December.
hope this helps anyway.

I don't say they are 'incorrect' more like new and improved! I say all xmas items are now 20% off with an added discount from the taxman with the VAT reduction on everything, and ask people to fill in the first collumn with the old price and I work out the correct one in the second collumn using the VAT list.
If something is unavailable this close to Xmas I would say don't bother as you risk not being able to pass it on to the host, and then on to the guest in time for xmas. With items with low stock or selling through I also state its unlikely to be available and get them to have a backup product if they want one. I learnt my lesson with gifts going in and out of stock and trying to get them for people, its too stressful! Plus to send it to the host in a second shipment means placing another order and costs you another fiver (minus vat) delivery so probably not worth it for one or two items.NST September: SFD 17/20, food £62.87/£60, travel £61.55/£40, Outings £39.80/£100, Allotment £7.17/£30 Other: £42.32, Meditation ?/30.

Hi what we do in our team is that if someone is off poorly & another consultant covers it is...
The poorly consultant still gets the sales (ie: we put the sales thru under her number) the consultant covering gets the commission & any party bookings from it. That way no-one really loses out.
Good luck for SS3 on tues.x0 -
That's my final party done and all orders through. I can now concentrate on getting my xmas organised. Made SS3 by 2.30!!!! and I'm so chuffed can't wait for all my goodies. Mangaed to get 3 parties for Jan so far but I'll worry about that later as now I have a turkey to buy lol
Hope everyone is well x0 -
Well done Bourbonsbabe, i was a little gutted i didn't make SS3, but hey ho, all my stuff arrived from SS1 & 2 and nov sales winnings! It is great i have so much stuff now and some of the spring make up, which i will be taking to my two parties on Thursday! My last two, then christmas and i am hoping to get a few bookings in Jan from them both.
I spent 2 hrs in the swindon store on sat, but everyone was in a rush, so i handed out two cards and helped people get their shopping done quicker. The store like me, so i am hoping to head back in some time in the new year and take on the booking system with gusto!
Well i have a regional gathering tonight, so that should be fun, my first oneMy manager is officially promoted to AM tonight, so that should be great, and as it is in Bristol she is driving her team from Swindon, all together! Have fun and have a great christmas to all those who have finished partying and are now down to christmas planning

Hi Everyone!!
Really want some advice and don't really want to bore you all on here.....BUT............
I am really cheesed off with my AM - I have not actually spoken to her on the phone since my training (In October!!!!!!) or seen her in person.
She does live about 1.5 away - which is why I was surprised that she is my "area" manager - as our areas are nowhere near each other!!!
I have NEVER been invited to any team meetings or area meetings - only a regional one which was 2hrs away on an evening - plus I already had a big party booked for that night!
I had over £4000 sales in November and have had nothing to congratulate me from her - not even a well done!!!
Maybe I am expecting a bit much - and I don't feel I "need" her. But I do feel a bit resentful that she is earning money on MY sales when she is doing nothing at all to help me!!!!!
I wanted to get anyones experience and advice - especially any AMs out there who could tell me what actually is meant to happen and what the consultant/AM relationship is meant to be like!
I am really interested in progressing myself and feel like there is definitely the call to have more teams in my area - but this isnt something that I feel I can, or want, to discuss with her!
What do you all think?!?!
Should I go to my Regional Manager with my complaints - its a tricky one isn't it??
I knwo its a sensitive matter so if any AMs want to PM me that would be great!!!
I'd love any advice!!!!!0 -
Is your RM Julia Bassett by any chance? I know she has a team in wales. If so I would go to her as she is lovely.
I would try to contact your AM first though and tell her how you feel. Have a list incase you go blank. ave you tried to contact her bfore? Maybe she thinks you are doing so well you dont need support? If no luck then escalate. You have done so well and should have had great feedback from your AM not a stone wall.:j0 -
Hi all,
Just put through my last party order for December, none til Jan now!! but pleased because I'm going to visit family this week so can just relax and look forward to Christmas now! I squeezed this last party in before my success start period was up and I've finished with £2000 sales in it now so get all 3 SS levels
Can't wait to get my goodies
Welshgirl, your AM sounds a bit rubbish. My AM sends our team weekly newsletters, with recognition for ppl with highest sales and bookings etc, she is very friendly and encouraging and whenever I've rang her before with something minor she always stresses that we are not to worry about ringing her and can do so any time. Do you not have to ring your AM once a week with new bookings and sales? We ring ours every Thurs with our news. We also have area meetings every month, my AM lives about an hour away and that's where the meetings are but it's not so bad once a month and she makes it worth going with chocolate for everyone and a free raffle with prizes just for arriving on time.
The regional meetings are quite a bit further for me, I went to one but may not bother again.
I would agree with KP and suggest contacting your regional manager about this, if she is a good manager then she won't mind at all and hopefully will be keen to help you. I sometimes get emails from my RM though I've never met her personally, but she has even sent me a Christmas card so seems quite approachable, let's hope yours is too!
I have a friend who comes to our area meetings and is from the town next to me, she was unhappy with her manager (who most ppl at our meetings agree was a bit useless) and confided in another manager in that town and she was able to transfer to be in her team instead, so maybe you could do something like this?
Hope you get something sorted
xx
Also meant to add, like KP sais, I would contact the AM first (having a list of your q's/worries is a good idea) see if it's something you can resolve first.
Maybe like KP said. you're doing so well that she thinks you're sailing along fine, though I do think you should be getting some kind of recognition with sales like those!!!0
