The bath robe is lovely. I have the sample one for myself and have just ordered one that a recent host didn't want for a sister-in-law's christmas present. They really are very nice and a bargain at the price.

Also, sorry but I can't comment on the natures minerals, i haven't got any of it yet. I'm hoping to get some soon but probably won't get too many colours of it.

I'd suggest getting something from each of the wellbeing ranges if you haven't already, maybe some spa wisdon in prep for jan detox parties. Otherwise go through the catalogue and make sure you have something from each page, including ALL the body butters (in mini size). I'm not saying go and buy all thse things but get them with free shopping when you can.

I agree with Elliep about the Body Butters. A lot of people won't buy things if they can't smell them so it really helps to have them there, mini ones are great at £5 each, I got 4 with some free shopping from my home party and they have been really helpful. There's also the new ranges on allocations for £3.12 to us so if you can afford it maybe get one or two, at least you can keep them for your own use when they aren't on sale any more!
Also I like having several foundation shades for make-up parties, luckily I had a few myself so I show them to people if they ask about shades.
I bought the Divine Calm lotion as I love it and at my last few parties I passed it around for people to smell the lavender, it sold!
    Have fun shopping sparky!

  • Hi girls, just had my worst party to date, did just under £90 my lowest so far has been about £200 so this is a massive drop.

I sell the raffle tickets £1 for one and £2 for 3. I give them a shower gel and a bath lilly, nout else lol

KimKim- have you got most of the products or just your basic kit? if you only have your kit, borrow of your AM (if she will) so you can show everything.

Don't worry - I've had a quiet party and it makes you wonder whether you've done the right thing joining... My 2nd party was really quiet ...I've really come round to host coaching really spending a few minutes when you give your host pack to set out how many she should aim to invite and what free-shopping she can achieve...

I'm currently throwing in a bottle of wine for the host (which I present to her in front of the guests) if she gets at least 10 people there on the night or at least 10 including any pre-party sales at my parties and I do a raffle as an ice-breaker (no charge to guests) and use incentives (about 6 items) and when the 6 raffle prizes are taken I carry on calling and they take from each other....it's great fun!!

I think it's impossible to have everything to show and customers must understand that. Have you looked into some kitbuild items?

I've only been a consultant 2 months and there are others on the forum doing for longer....the forum is great to pass round ideas and have a chat.

    Good luck

    Thanks for the replies guys.

Opted for the tea tree face mask, I have all the body butters, and cleaner/toner/moist for sea weed, wise woman, vit e etc, just got a bit unsure what to get next and aware a new book coming out soon n didnt wanna get somestuff incase it wasnt in the new book!

KimKim, dont worry, we all have low parties, I've been with tbsah now for about 3 years on and off and had weeks were I've done 500/600 parties and then the next week its been 50/60. It can be hit and miss, as long as you know you've gone and done your best thats all you can do. You cant help people being tight!!!! lol

  • I sold a couple of pore perfectors in the Seaweed because a guest at the party said she had seen an article about it (I think she said in Elle) and it was being hailed as a wonder treatment.

I mentioned this at my next party and sold two more even though I don't have any of the seaweed range in my kit. I'm hoping to get to £1600 this month, that will be one of the things I buy if I end up a bit short (as well as all my Xmas presents!).

In other news, I'm going with the girl who recruited me to one of her parties next week. Hopefully I will get some tips on party flow in general and getting more bookings! I'm also going to ring my local TBS stores about getting in there before Christmas. I've no parties now till next Thursday, going to try and be productive in this dry spell and fill December - here's hoping! x
