Hiya!
Wondered if anyone could go through what a pure pamper party involves? Ive only been taught make me fab parties and my manager cant get me trained up in time for next week..?
Thank you xx0 -
Hi all! Hope everyone is having a good afternoon.
Katy, ive not yet gotten around to putting notices up in shops etc but ive got some ready to go i just need to buy some black ink!
Katecj no one has ever gone for the pure pamper (ie hands and feet) before with me so im sorry hun i cant help.
Im partying tonight and cant wait!! As always i aim to get 2 recruit leads and hopefully 1 or 2 party bookings. I'll defnitley rebook the host though as she used to have BS parties regularly until her local consultant left earlier last year. So i'll get her rebooked for a jan party.
Have a good afternoon and evening all, good luck to those of you with parties! Hope you make loads of cash!

Hi,
just after a few last min tips for the fundraiser I'm doing tonight, would you charger a small amount like a pound or so for hand massages/facials, maybe to give to the cote charity, or do them for free? Do you give away any incentives for ppl who book parties then and there?? I don't have many at all to take with me so was thinking of printing little slips out with what they get for booking a party and have ppl pick them out of a lucky dip bag, then take the gift along on the party date. Or is that idea a bit naff??
Also has anyone used the free prize draw slips? Just wondering whether I should pull the draw at the end of the night, was thinking of using an oil burner with some tea lights all wrapped up pretty as the prize for this. I hope one's enough at my parties I've been putting 3 prizes in the raffle.
Any last min tips would be greatly appreciated...
Katecj, I haven't done a purepamper party yet either but I do show some of these products at my parties. I would demo the shower, scrub, soften range on the back of each person's hand like it shows on the cue cards. I've been trained in hand massages and those would be good to do, maybe your manager could just email you notes on these?
Start with an exfoliator, then massage the hand and up the arm with either massage oil or moisturiser. Someone on here may have instructions on how to do the hand/arm massage that they can email you.
I haven't been trained how to use the peppermint range for feet yet so not sure how you go about doing a foot treatment....Sorry I can't be of much help, I'm sure someone more experienced on here will give you some great tips.

Hi
What I do at pure pamper parties is to first of all ask the hostess to choose either hands or feet before the party. The reason being that if she chooses feet she needs to tell all her guests to bring a washing up bowl with them.
FEET - Fill all bowls with warm water and sprinkle in some of the peppermint foot soak. Pass this round for everyone to see and smell. Then I exfoliate the host's feet with the peppermint foot scrub. Then pass this round so guests can do their own feet. Then I use a body butter to massage the feet (if you have the peppermint foot lotion then use this but I don't have it!) and again pass it round. The feet should feel cool and tingly and guests should notice a difference on their feet.
HAND - I demo a hand massage but first exfoliate using the almond oil scrub with warm water and then use one of our massage oils to massage the arm and hand. I've had training on this but if you don't feel comfortable then just massage in some hemp hand protector.
Hope this helps!
Helen - Think there's only 2 or 3 as far as I'm aware. I'm in Wolverton Mill. Sarah Sivyer is my senior AM too. I work in Body Shop in MK centre at weekends if you ever fancy popping in to say hi!

Hi all
I've just been reading our teams weekly update and my AM has put me down as having 2 creative bookings this week.
What is the difference between a booking and a creative booking? Does anyone know?
Also, I did a family party on Wed night. It went ok, got £195 sales plus I'd done a fundraiser a few days before so I added the orders from that to it so it was about £300 altogether. Because it was family eg cousins, aunties, mum etc I just went to pieces and sounded so scatty and like I didn't know what I was talking about. Can anyone give any advice on how to overcome nerves and how to have more confidence when talking to a room full of people. I thought I was getting better at it but after the other day I'm now dreading my next party. I would just love to sound confident and knowledgeable but I feel there is so much to learn and my brain doesn't seem to want to store anything!!!
Thanks guys!!!

Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone has had any feed back on the cranberry body shimmer. I brought this on kit build a while ago and really love it so always recommend it to customers however at my last party someone said Yuck!! When i smelt it I realised it no longer smelt of cranberry but really tinny. Its horrible and the only cranberry product I have so its now gonna be hard to sell the range. I'm really disappointed. Has this happened to anyone else and does anyone know if i'll be able to get this replaced?0 -
Lorraine-I was the same when I done a party with my family but I think its because there are more distractions. It will get easier and the nerves will naturally fade abit. As for storing info this will slowly happen too. Concentrate on remembering things about your favorite products then it will start to build. If you forget things no one is going to know so just move on to the next thing.0

lollipop, referring to my previous post, would you be able to give me any tips on what you did at your fundraiser? I have one later on this eve!
Also I found I was like that also when I did a party for my mum and having to present to my aunties, sisters etc...but I think I will feel alot more confident infront of strangers, I was certainly more confident at my party last night so it does get better. Preparing well before the party helps, I read through my notes, presentation and the product descriptions to my daughter all afternoon yesterday whilst doing the housework, then when I began to speak at the party I felt I really knew it well and didn't have to use my cue cards. It really helped it sink in.
I think with me I feel my family already know what I'm like and I'm not a very outgoing person usually, so I feel more like they'd be watching and judging me, whereas to a complete stranger I can make out I'm this super confident clued up consultant!

Katy, that makes so much sense thanks for that.. I'm sure my family were thinking the same regarding confidence!!!
The fundraiser I did was more of a pamper evening for the school. I went with my senior consultant and she had bought loads of gifts and made up loads of gifts to put on the stall. We did the free prize draw leaflets and at the end of the night we gave out a goodybag full of various products mainly from the incentives on the siteeg papaya shower gel, tea tree wash, logo watch etc etc. We offered 10% off everything and anything that we didn't have I ordered for them.
Sorry, I know I've probably replied a bit too late but I'm sure it will be of use to someone.
