  • I may sound thick here, but I'm fairly new to this so I'm allowed... what's a party in a bag?
  • Im finding these £400 parties to be almost non existent Just that £470 whopper. I seem to average £150-200. Hope this changes for my mext bout of parties. Not sure where I am going wrong

You pass a few catalogues in the host envelope out to a host who just gets orders rather than have a party. She gets the same free shopping rewards.

  • Ooh right that sounds like a good idea. I've got a couple friends that won't hold parties cos they don't like people walking on their carpets in their shoes (!!!!) so I'm sure I could get them to do this instead!

    Thanks

My average party is about £300 but did a £450 one last night. I don't do 'themed' parties, i show just about everything. The more you show, the more you sell, so, if your not doing that already, give it ago.

  • Hi

Just wanted to agree with what Cherrypie said about showing everything.

My manager keeps telling me to only show the christmas gifts I have and nothing else but I still show everything and my average party is £295 (just worked it out!). I don't think I could achieve this by only showing gifts.

I take as much as I can carry and will carry on doing this as it seems to be working for me.

    xx

Yay, it worked. I had a virus on my computer and had it fixed this morning. I read a week or so ago a message from an Aussie girl asking if their were any other Aussies here. I am, but I live in the UK at the moment. I have to catch up on everyone's posts as I have been off here for a while.
  • I show everything too although I've been told not too lots of times. I talk through the catalogue and these types of parties tend to give me higher party values. Apparently we shouldn't show everything as this makes it better to get party bookings. For instance someone asks to see something and you say I ahven't got it with me but if you book a party then we can use a theme with this range/product etc.
I still prefer to show everything thou...I think people want to see as much as possible.
