I'm afraid I can't help you ali-t, if I could think of those types of ideas then I'd be using them too! I only recently signed up and my kit arrived today, very exciting!!! I spent a couple of hours opening and trying or reading all of it and I'm not finished (the consultant manual is very long and I don't think anyone could read it all at once!)
I'm really looking forward to starting parties but also looking for ideas or ways to generate orders without parties. I'm planning to try the local primary schools to see if they want to send out catalougues with the kids to home. I'd do it as a fund raiser and give them 10% of the sales while keeping the host rewards for myself. As far as I know this is perfectly acceptable but if i'm wrong please someone let me know!
  • I go into shops and garages as well as doing parties and nothing really comes from it tbh. The school thing sounds good but you would have to buy 100's of brouchures and not get any back and you might only make a few quid so be out of pocket big time.

My manager is having a meeting with all of us (around 20!) at her house next week. Its more like a girlie night in. We get fed and we need to take a bottle, our diary and our phones. Ive had a bit of a rubbish start really, not much chance of getting success start or the make up box which is disappointing but ive still got the comission lol. Ive bought a couple of bits on kit build this month and i do like them (the aqua lily and mango trio sets).

Plans for getting bookings: To go into store over the next few weeks, harass my mates and family lol and contact past guests. Also, something i read about somewhere else: online parties!! Ive got a few friends who live a fair way away and what i thought was (after reading of it somewhere else) was to send e-invitations and a link to the BS online catalogue and a week later have my friends on msn tell me what they want to order Obviously card details wont be taken over the phone so my idea was either they pay me by paypal and once i have the money in my account i place the order or they could contact me by phone and i could take details that way.

Other than that im a bit stumped tbh!

  • Hello
I am trying to order a load of supplys online and cant for the life of me work out how, can any one advise me, I have my 6 parties booked up for september and would like to offer incentives for more people to book at those parties Plus I need more invites, order forms ect, I have spent the last hour trying to figure it out and am now at my wits end.
    Thnks
  • Has your kit arrived as you get order forms and invites in there.

Log on and go to ordering, order to host, click edit next to your name, scroll down to the add/search for a product, from drop down box choose supply items and search on there for stuff, everythings on there (click next at bottom of page for next page etc)

  • Hi all, I'm so pleased to have found this thread, what a good idea!
I've just started as a consultant, completed my training yesterday and met some lovely ppl there, and have first 6 parties booked! I'm a bit nervous about the general flow of the party though, and that I don't have enough incentives to do a raffle at more than a couple of my parties, does anyone have any other game ideas?
Haven't got my kit yet but, I'm expecting it tomorrow, and I am going to conference too :D
    xx
  • Hi Katy and welcome! When you place your first order you can buy more incentives for your raffles so don't worry about that. Your manager should make up your first one for you. I have a Mr and Mrs Wright game and a yes no game. If you want me to email them to you pm your email addy

ok, I have a few marketing ideas but not sure if they will work so looking for some feedback. I'm going to do the stock up early and spread the cost of xmas bit but what about -
credit crunch parties - beauty on a budget
. Or does this highlight that times are tight and people will spend less or set themselves a fixed budget
90's revival parties I am thinking about these as when I was at school in the early 90's everyone wore white musk and dewberry perfume. depending on the age of the people I was thinking about getting people to dress in late 80's/ early 90's style clothes and getting everyone in the mood that way.

So does this sound a good idea or should I stick with the 3 parties they suggest? I need all the help I can get!
If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!
  • Thanks for the games cherry, I've got a new starter training session tonight so looking forward to that, and hopefully will get some more tips there.
What area is everyone on here from?

    xx
