Flickering Ember, I assume that you have tried all your friends and family? I know you don't have many nearby... Have you told them how useful it would be for you?
Have you tried leafleting? asking in any businesses?
How long have you been trying to get parties?0 -
Domokun, Go to TBSAH website and click on direct to host order, then click on order overview and next to your name click on edit. at the top there will be a box to select between general order, supply etc.
It took me ages to find it because i was looking under direct to me orders but I can't seem to find it in there at all. with the to host order when you get to the shipping page you can tell it you want it to you.0 -

Yikes theirs a few of you that wern't allowed your kit until you had 6 parties, my manager wasn't bothered about 6 as long as i had a few as you get parties from your parties. My 1st party was my own, isn't that an option for you? You said most of your friends are male, but surely they have girlfriends/wives etc?
Got another recruit i think, me and my manager are going tomorrow night to sign her up and we are meeting another one after conference on saturday, that will be 3 for me in 7 weeks lol and hopefully i'll be up on stage getting my warm amber collection at conference for recruiting between the 1st and 5th sep, so look out for me all thas going lol, Oh and IAM gonna get a Tomtom as mines on i8ts way out and need another lol

My manager isn't going to order my kit until I have 6 parties booked in the first 3 week period and preferably 8! OMG, most people want them at the weekend so unless I do a 6pm and then a 9pm it is going to be difficult. Anyway I never realised just how persuasive I could be until I started trying to recruit for BSAH.
I had another idea about where to get parties and wonder if anyone has tried it. I thought about approaching the local slimming clubs and doing pamper parties there. the slimming club person would host the party with healthy nibbles and less/no alcohol so there wouldnt' be as much temptation to munch and the slimming group could use it as a reward and use each other as support.
What do you think? Anyone tried with success or failure? If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -

I have NO female friends here, and my only family is my ex partner and the kids, 300 miles away.0 -

Again why are you trying to do TBSAH then, doesn't seem worth your while hun!0 -
Flickering Ember, Why not sign up for an adult education course? It could be a great way of meeting new female friends who could potentially host parties for you. Unfortunately I'm starting to agree with CherryPie though. If it's taking this long and this much work to get 6 parties then is it something you want to be doing longer term?
The set up cost isn't really just the £95 either, I've spent out on travelling to training, buying business cards etc and all in I've spent £160 before doing any parties...
I hate to discourage you though, if I think of any more ideas for getting you some parties I'll let you know.0 -
