Puppy Bloating - Worms?

Our puppy accidently got his foot trapped under the door when it snapped back on Saturday morning at 5am. We took him straight down to the vets where he was given an anti-inflamatory injection and an examination said it was just bruised and that after some rest he should be fine - and he absolutely is! There's no lasting effects, he's walking fine (and was yesterday after some sleep) and is playing happily.

On the day before, he had his first jabs and was sick a couple of minutes after to which the lady said it was stress and he'd be fine - again which he was. We pointed out how bloated he was - and had been - and the lady explained that it was most likely worms and gave us Panacur liquid wormer that we've given him a 1.25ml dose of Sat/Sun morning - and the last one is to be given tomorrow morning.

He appears to be getting bloated again and I was wondering if anyone could please tell me if this was normal? We've checked his stools and there have been no worms in them that I could see and they are very liquidlike. He did drag his bum along the floor a couple of times before though.

I'm going to contact the vets tomorrow as soon as it opens too but I'd like to know if anyone can please tell me if the bloating is normal? Thanks :)

I'm reasonably certain that he's alright - purely because he's seen a vet twice in as many days and the symptoms seem to fit with the bloating - but I'd like to know if there's anything I can do in the mean time to make him comfortable (He is playing happily and doesn't seem otherwise affected). Could it be an aftermath of a bit of stress over the weekend?

Thanks :)

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: Sorry, giving or asking for medical advice is not permitted on this forum as it’s not what this site is about.
