Way to go piggers! I'm impressed at how committed you have stayed at dealing with your debts.

I am now dressed but that is it. I've spent an hour going through DS1 coursework with him and ended up giving him a right lecture when he corrected how I pronounced the name of a place.

Goign to do a HHC now before lunch please feel free to join me - see you at midday.

    Well done piggers! Yeahhhhhhhhhh!

We've had a nice surprize today. DH hasn't has a proper wage since he got a payrise as he's been away. Got his first basic pay this month and it's £160 more than we thought it would be. Maybe we'll get the roof fixed before the winter!! xx

Right, I'm off to wash my hair and clean the tiles in the bathroom whilst I'm in there. Then when I'm dressed, I'll tackle the rest of my list. Will put the PC on defrag now then, so will sign off the net so that it runs quicker.

    See you all later.

Not yet.. I said I wouldn't update it until it was less than the total there.. which was last updated in DECEMBER.. but I can proudly say today I can update it.. after 3 whopping utility bills it is finally heading in the right direction again.. I cannot say how delighted I am to see the back of the student loan.. £150 a month that was... which will of course be hammered off another thing.. the overdraft *gulp* ..

my next big challenge is... littlewoods catalogue.. the balance is currently £886.40 so other than the credit card it is the largest debt we have.. in 3 months it WILL be gone!!

Oh.. and I just booked hubby another week in Germany.. so I'll be home alone for a whole week during the school jollidays.. this time I AM decorating!!

 I might be being a bit thick here as I don't know you really, but I thought Martin always said don't bother paying off a student loan any faster than it is paid automatically? Because it's so cheap and so on? Or is it a normal loan that you took out while you were a student..?

he does..but it was my biggest monthly payment at £150 (bar the mortgage) and I needed it gone.. so it is.. and seeing as they literally doubled the interest in September it wasn't that cheap either..

Plus he also says pay off the ones with the highest interest first.. my other stuff doesn't have interest so it was my most expensive debt other than the credit card.. which is on my hitlist after the littlewoods catalogue

Plus he isn't the one dealing with all this and anything less on my list something marvellous
