    Have a fab holiday juliejim!

Sarahshattered - your poor dd. My dd had shingles at 7. The doctor told me it's not as painful in children as it is in adults but dd still felt pretty rotten. Hugs to you both.

SSL - its just as well you didn't get that job because we weren't going to let you take it anyway because....because...because they smell and you don't! Good arguement?? Hugs to you.

My bras arrived from bravissimo. All three fit perfectly but at £40 a throw how can I justfiy keeping them all. That's the problem when you're larger than the norm....grrrrrrr. I've not bought any for two years and they're now grey rather than white. One of the swimming cossies fits well too. So I can send one cossie back for a £30 refund but.....what else do I keep? BTW I got a £26 cashback from quidco so I guess that nearly paid for one of them.

    Hugs to newbies.

    Flying.....erm.....not today thankyou! xx

It's unusual for children, Only 5%of children will get it!! it's about right for my little girlie! she's 7. GP put her on anti-viral medication, and she's having paracetamol for the pain. She's pretty grumpy though. It is the same as adult shingles, nasty rash on her face and neck. She screamed the place down when I brushed her hair this morning! It's so sensitive around the area. :(
The scary thing is, if it travels up the nerves towards the eye.... don't want to think about that really!

Oh Sarah!!! What a wee shame!! Give her a big hug from me xx

    Hi

I have done nothing today apart from 1 load of washing, washing up and tidied and hoovered the living room.

I had to take Ds2 to casualty last night because he fell off a dining chair into another one and cracked his head open. It was pouring with blood and you could see his skull. Thankfully although deep it was only about an inch long and was glued up really nicely. He screamed for about half hr then was running around the waiting room happily playing with the toys. He seems to have suffered no ill effects and is back to his normal self but he gave me a scare then for a bit.

Then this afternoon he went to the kitchen to get an ice lolly ( even though i have a baby gate to stop him he can open it:rolleyes: ) i was in the living room which is right next to the kitchen. I looked over at him and saw he had a mouse trap in his hand and was about to lick the chocolate spread off it:eek: .( The mouse trap was at the side of the fridge right at the back ). Before i could get to him he'd licked it and set it off. He must have let go as it went off and it snapped back and caught him in the chest. So now he has a nice red mark on his chest. i'm just glad he let go or we'd be looking at broken fingers.

I also have a migrane coming so i doubt i will get much more done today.

Oh (((holly))) - I think I would have passed out at the sight of his skull  Big hugs for you honey xx

    (((hugs))) for SSL and RMC.

Well my mum has contacted the passport office and they have said that they will accept a letter from my niece's father saying that my parents can apply for a passport. As long as he agrees should be ok, as we have to pay balance for holiday soon we need to organise it ASAP.

If he doesnt agree, I am available for hire to persuade him to change his mind. For free, obviously and preferably on a week when I've got PMT...
