I now have some paperwork to do so I'll get on with that for 15 minutes. :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Well done Sarahshattered but................
I notice that you haven't marked of the ME time yet. Hope you have something planned. ( I plan on getting my mum to baby sit and get my hair done. It needs it.)January Grocery 11/3740 -
   WHY do bloody kids decide to help you tidy their room when you decide to gut it from top to bottom, sorting toys and binning stuff? AND they only decide to do this when you have dragged beds out and uncovered the mountain of junk under said beds? PLUS they scream for throwing out some long forgotten broken bit of cheap tat?
FFFFFFFRRRRRGGGGGAAAAAAARRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!
Have really been in there an hour and a half?! It's not even nearly done! All I have done is under one bed! Even still, there is one pile left and it needs hoovering!
Feel like jumping in a cold shower though, sweat is running down my back and I can smell myself and I stink which means I must stink even worse to everyone else!
Might shove some food in the oven for the brats and jump in that shower before continuing the good fight.0 -

Okay deep breath I will confess straight away i have done nowt today - no motivation at all (havent even emptied the DW yet)
shatteredsarah & nicki very impressive lists
tia I refuse to do kids rooms if they are in the house
pigpen with you on the heat my head is thumping today and nothing is shifting it, we did have some thunder & lightening last night but its not made the slightest difference.
ssl any word yet
mudbath hope you have visited a&e this afternoon - is this on the same hand/wrist that was in plaster earlier in the year?
dusty when did you introduce pocket money for jobs in house thinking about starting it here but not sure if DD1 is old enough (9), anyone else have experience of this.
Okay going to start tea and tackle the kitchen while that is cooking, will see what else needs doing after.0 -
tiamai_d I know exactly what you mean...it's HORRIBLE!!!!!
My children do that, or even worse, is when I've sorted out a bag of rubbish and a bag of second hand...(hasn't been touched for 3 years) stuff, only to get distracted by something one of them is doing, come back to carry on, only to find it's all been emptied out and I'm back where I started, only now, shattered, hot and cross!!!!!!MMSSB Club Founder Member

I have now done even more
Folded the now dry washing
Cleaned the playroom
Cleaned the conservatory
Cleaned the kitchen
Taken DS to his swimming lesson.
Kids now sound like they are killing each other. Joy oh joy - I just love the school holidays
Off to do some more now0 -
Phew
I go to pick up DD from my sister's then drop her off at dancing class and you've all done very well and filled THREE PAGES!
Well done all - lots done!
I have brought in my washing, scarves/gloves/hats clean and dry and DON'T NEED IRONING! so I won't iron them.
So still to do
My bedroom - might be btter done now as the sun is not blazing in through the window.
A bit of ironing
Research prices of water butts as my dad has been round and put guttering on shed so I can collect water for veg plot. (I don't know what I'd do without my parents:T). Although I don't have a water meter I think it would be a good idea and it will save me filling watering cans in kitchen and stop me slopping water all over nice clean floor.
That'll be enough for tonight. Think DD will be too tired for Mamma Mia - bet it's still be on next week (Orange Wednesday, obviously) so it looks like I've sneaked in some ME time there.
Might go and drop in on gardening thread for water butt advice.
See you all later ladies.
