Well done on your lists all of you - a good day flying for lots of us today.
Need to do a quick update in a minute.

JJef started money for jobs when they were about 10 - just the odd job for cash but now they want pocket money it is starting to be more regular
Bother about gas prices - I heard Martin on GMTV this morning saying cap - I've always resisited, I just thought they were all threatening it. I'm with scottish hydro - think I'll have a look at it all tonight - it takes ages to do it properly like the car insurance. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Valli- I bought a water butt from Wilkos for £15, the guttering cost me more than the butt itself. We are metered, plus have third of an acre so 4 butts. Well worth the money.
Kazmeister - doesnt matter if it is in his name - sign up on line then he just has to sign the contract. Go via quidco via cashback. Only Eon still doing capped as far as I can see.
I am trying to talk my DH into a new boiler - our gas bill is £120 per month! This is just the boiler - nothing else is gas.
I did a couple of hours of weeding after work this morning, nothing to the house. Far too hot. Boys ate all of the ripe peas, all of the raspberries and were very excited to find a football sized pumpkin. The combination of rain and sun is obviously good for something other than chickweed! Yes you can.... you switch it online, through quidco or greasypalm whichever has the best cashback offer.. and not to crappy scottish power!!.. just fill the details in in his name.. ours are in hubbys name but I've always switched it over depending on cashback and cheapest deals.. noone ever checks.. just tell him you have done it once it is done and usually they don't even phone to check.. just make sur ehe is briefed if they do!!

Well thats it I'm on strike. Since my last post I have
Cleaned the living room
Cleaned the hall
Cleaned the downstairs clockroom
Put the bins out
Watered the garden
Fed me and the kids
Put the DW on again
Put cleaner on the oven to work overnight
Waited for DS guitar teacher to turn up - eventually gave up
Now I'm having a :coffee: and a glass of wine later whilst watching tv
Have a good evening all.0 -
Amazing what you can do in less than an hour when you put your mind to it
Monday Mayhem lounge and hall - (catching up)
Vaccumed
Dusted
Cleaned TV and glass (including dining room and all mirrors round the house)
Cleaned the mantel and hearth
Wednesday Wishes - spare rooms
Tidied everything away
vacuumed
Dusted
Changed the bed and put out towels for mum who arrives tomorrow :T
Also, I have cleaned the glass shower cubicle til it shines, inadvertantly having a small shower in the process....:rotfl:
Polished the front door glass
Polished the glass table in the hall (I seem to have a lot of glass, not a good idea really with 2 cats and 2 dogs making everything dusty)
Tidied and cleaned the bathroom
Mental note, I am gathering a huge pile of junk from all the hotspots, but haven't quite managed to do anything about sorting through it yet, but early days?
Pigpen forgive me, I haven't cleaned the oven, but have cleaned the inside of the glass doors, so it looks clean from the outside
I think I may deserve a glass of wine now....

I have done no flying whatsoever!
Instead I have spent six hours on the phone with my sister and her partner, my mother and it feels like 200 professional carers...my BIL has severe mental health problems and is having a suicidal episode.............he is now under an excellent care plan. Thank God (Wasnt supposed to start my suicide family support worker til next week)
Then I spent another part of the day with my best friend whose sister is 47 and terminally ill and in a hospice. This is the second sister she has lost to cancer in 4 years.
I am exhausted and have smoked far too many fags!LBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.

There is no point in negative thought, it takes up time and energy which could be used in a positive, happy way!

I got given a battery powered fence sprayer. Now I only have four fence panels. Yes it was probably quicker spraying them - once I had got it to work, but I'm sure I ended up using most of that 'saved' time getting the d&*n thing cleaned out afterwards .Quote
Have now done other side of fence the 'old-fashioned' way. OK it took longer but
1. it took less preservative.
2. brush gives more even coverage.
3. I only have a brush to clean or rather leave to soak while I had my tea.0
