Many years ago forgot MOT on the then OH's car, thought it was same time as mine, but was 1 month earlier. Fortunately was able to get it MOT'd and she never realised she had driven illegally for a month. One garage group puts a small MOT reminder sticker on the car's "A post" so it's visible when you open driver's door.
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

Our local test station used to put a sticker on the inside side of the tax disc holder:T They don't issue the stickers now under the computerised system, progress:confused:
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed
  • I remember these sort of things by putting a reminder on my mobile phone.

Most, if not all, mobile phones now have a calendar facility. Set a reminder for the next year as soon as you have the MOT done. That way you will not forget.

Obviously it is a feature that is under utilised.

  • What about setting a reminder on your computer then?

That should be possible quite easily. :)

Thats quite a sensible suggestion for anyone who tends to forget, but not infalible, I've lost an entire hard drive already this year:mad:

Sticker in the car seems the best idea for me;)

  • You could use a Google calendar or any other online similar type thing. That way it would not be lost if your hard drive got gubbed!

  • You need a valid MOT to obtain Road Tax from the PO.

Because with No plate recognition systems in most police cars, cameras, you are going to get done more than once a year:rolleyes:
