i went to MrT's this afty to stock up on dog food, as i had £4 worth of coupons i wanted to use. also got some more bread flour and yeast and chocolate :D

orkneystar i have a weekly budget set at £50 a week, and when i declare my final total, i add up all the weeks ie 4 or 5 and my total spends. so for this month, it was a 4 week month, which meant i had a total budget of £200 and i spent a total of £166 HTH

right, am off to bed now:hello:

I am not declaring on my July budget till tomorrow evening but please put me down for £280 for August Angelnikki, thanks. We are away from 8-15th and again from 25-27th. The first week we will be self catering but I think that will/should come out of the holiday budget, so even though it is a 5 week month it should be ok. My month will end on 28th.

Not sure if this is the right place to publish this and some of you may know of it already but there is a site called:

    http://www.myvouchercodes.co.uk/all-voucher-codes

Where you can see all the codes available for your favourite shops and sign up to an email alert for them. I found it when searching for wine and found a voucher worth £30 off a spend of £69.99 - so I got 12 bottles delivered for £46.98 - less than £4 per bottle. It sounds extravagent but this will last us 2-3 months so not too outrageous! It will take a week to arrive so this comes off my August budget.

    Off to update my sig.

    Night night

Ok, the kids are home, I have no idea how much more I will spend this summer hols, as in the past I have just bought the groceries and not worried about it  In july I came in under budget at £215.38, so I am going to challenge myself to do August to the tune of £210 and that has to include the numerous days out picnics that I have promised the children

Edit to add that my month is 1st - 31st :)
