Hi all
I have a question
Does any one know why my carrot leaves would go red.
They are still tiny tiny so not ready for picking.
Just spoke to hubby and he is on way home from work (self employed) and he is passing Aldi and Lidl so asked him to pop into one of them for babies nappies size 4.
He is taking a long time, I just hope he isnt trying to be helpful and do my weekly shop or something.

I'm not quite ready to declare my total yet but it's looking very good so far. I'm going to trim my September budget to £90 and see how that goes for the month. Just got back from a weekend in Devon visiting my parents with my lovely bf who they hadn't met before. Didn't spend from my GC budget and he's very generous about paying for meals etc. so we'll see just how well I do next month. There's still a serious amount of stuff in my freezer so hopefully I should be able to keep knocking the edges off the GC amount until I find a level I'm comfortabe with. Hope everyone is having a fine Bank Holiday. It's up to me now and nobody else.0

Hi Everyone,
been busy...
this morning was spent on here trying to find out about reusable nappies..im more confused than ever.
then ive made a cottage pie for 5(freezer), and a lasagne for 4.
ive been dying to go shopping all day, at one point i had shoes on keys in hand and little one all ready and pulled out at the last minute. I DO NOT NEED ANYTHING...i just like shopping. i need to have another NSD to convince myself i can do this. freezer is nearly empty and so are the cupoards but I CAN make it until Wednesday, i know i can.....
i will just keep comming on here everytime the urge comes over me..
thanks karen0 -
Fertyskids...
I will keep an eye on you, if you keep an eye on me :rotfl: ..I got up this morning determined I WAS having a wander to the supermarket -managed to stop myself...Im not desperate for anything..but i think I have been soooo good with the shopping lately and getting the spends down ..that my rebellious "inner twin" was trying to make a break for freedom
.. I AM NOT... NOT going shopping until Saturday..If I do please form a queue and kick my bum

I have been having a read through the thread to keep myself motivated. I have also sat down and down a meal plan for the whole of September:D
I would of started my september GC this week but as I had already done the shopping and Overspent, plus we are off to legoland for the weekend on friday, I thought it would be best to plan ahead and give myself time to prepare for it.

Hi everyone,
August has been a really manic month for us, not had much chance to post let alone keep up with all the posts on here. I hope everyone is well? I will start Sept GC on First £145 again please , declaring £135.08 for august
Thank-you x
p.s notice alot of you are using bread mix, is that cheaper than buying bread flour etc or just easier?(Family of 5: 2 adults & 3 children aged 7yrs, 4yrs, and 18months)0 -

I tried turnips after that but not much appeared. Sorry.
I like to eat raw turnip but not many do .
Only thing I can think of is mash, maybe a little in soup ?Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.
