Hi there, thanks for such an informative board.
Just one thing the link http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1056247 which is about cars and bankruptcy in one of the first posts on this sticky doesn't work. This topic has answered a lot of questions about the process as considering going down the road of bankruptcy.Don't worry it'll all work out in the end

That one needs a total re-write as things have changed since it was originally done. Removed it in the meantime, as better for it not to be there rather than people get the wrong info.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

hi
My OH was made bankrupt in September 2012 and this year was given a BRU for three years. I have looked on the insolvency register which says that he was discharged in September this year.
His parents want to put him on their will, so that if they die he and his sister will share everything they have.
As he has been discharged would he be able to inherit his parent's assets?
Does it make a difference that he has a BRU?
Any help greatly appreciated.0 -

I'm finalizing my Statement of Affairs at the moment and found this table really useful, but just wondering if there is a more up to date version around as the info is from 2010/11?
Thanks0 -
Any better?
