where did you get the £5 now voucher from thanks
sunday's News of the World paper. There will be one this Sunday too apparently. you can put that towards an electrical purchase/phone I think.....as long as it's over a £30 spend.
My Tesco hasn't taken MOC for the last 3 years due to the "Manager's policy" yet the Tesco 6 miles away takes aything! I don't understand why they have a National policy and then leave it up to the manager to set his own policy in store. Surely one contradicts the other!!

I went to my Tesco on saturday and they too told me that they dont accept MOC's anymore. When I told them that I have an email from HO and it stated that they will accept MOC's, CS told me that they have done their own policy and will no longer accept MOC's....

Follow up..... had to go to town today so popped in to get my sister a new printer (with 500 back to school coupon, as you do!!!!) and they accepted every single MOC I had... :rotfl::T

Just wish we knew the hot from the cold  .. saturday they wouldnt accept any, today there wasnt enough for them!!!!
  • I have just emailed Tesco Customer Services asking for a coupon policy letter to be sent to my home address and stating why. Hopefully I'll get a desired response!!!
  • I've just bought a new home 'phone from Tesco yesterday & got £18 knocked off it :j £5 from newspaper, £6 voucher they sent (for over £60 spend) & seeing she was scanning for fun, gave her various others too :D

I'd be really worried if my local stopped taking them.
Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker :)

My local store have taken everything for ages now but the last two times they have been fussy and now are saying they won't take printed coupons unless they are couponsafe ones. Which leaves me in a bot a pickle as I have hardly got any of those left now :(. I need to go later too.

I've just posted this in the voucher section but thought I'd put it here too as its more relevant here.

    HI all

Please find below the policy that my local supervisor in Tescos gave to me last week after it was reissued to all stores (or so she said) She'd been keeping an eye out for me coming in and gave me a copy to keep with the email I take in should I have any problems using coupons.

    Hope this helps.

  • wish i had the balls to print that image out and show next time i shop. The past 2 weeks ive got £0 off my bill. I had some pampers ones i wanted to use and both times they refused to even wave it over and just said "this one doesn't work" and handed it back to me. Same with some that i printed out for items that i didn't buy (the magazine offers etc) i was told they wouldnt take them - for anyone wondering this is old swan branch in Liverpool (so a pretty bigish store)

Please refrain from mentioning individual stores when talking about coupon friendly Tesco shops, unless you want the policy changed in the one you are mentioning!

End result will be the store will be deluged with coupon users and the store will change the policy to zero....
