That's not universal (excuse the pun). In my C programming days the comparitor for "Not equal to" was always "!=". E.g. in C, "x != y" means "x not equal to y". It certainly didn't mean "everywhere" otherwise I'd have found my programs acting very oddly.

    Ball Lightning?

    Sounds painful.
David Icke, why am I not surprised that you'd be into that nonsense. You lost all credibility in my eyes when you spouted that nonsense about microwave ovens ("negative magnetic energy"). Just lumping any old terms together doesn't suddenly make you knowledgable in electromagnetism.

Now you've incurred the wrath of the lizard people... I hope you've charged up your orgone wand and have a plentiful supply of snowflake obsidian and hematite! You might need it when they come for you!*

    :rotfl:

    * Excuse my apparent knowledge of this nonsense, I used to go out with one of those loonies. One that was into crystals, anyway. Even she wasn't dippy enough to believe David Icke. :rotfl:

I DEFINATLEY saw these orange objects friday night! UFO or not or what? Im still spooked! been looking up on google etc and reports in papers today, it seems like other ppl across uk saw the same thing i did! and noone can explain it.
There were over 200 reportings that weekend and normally they say they get 10-15 reports

....so what were they? to be seen in so many different places over the UK?

Turns out there were actually lanterns.

Did what you saw look anything like them?

I was the one who actually started the thread friday night when i saw them, and did give details on that.

bright orange lights very large travelling in a V formation - one light at front other 2 at back travelling very silently across our house, def not an aircraft and too big and silent to be a lantern/balloon.
The air was very still ground level and all so very silent (apart from me screaming what the hell!! lol) they took about 4m to go over us then one single one followed. It was 11.50pm friday night.

I was a non believer but this! ive never seen anything like it.

may i add the reason we saw them is our friend was round and his car alarm outside went off (of which he says never happens) so we all rushed out thinking his car was being tampered with, and thats when we saw them!!

Lanterns don't make any noise, and it's very difficult to judge the size of something that is up in the air. Water vapour in the air will also cause a halo around them causing them to look bigger.

A non-believer in what? Lights in the sky?

I see lights in the sky all the time.

Do you think aliens were trying to steal his car?

    The fiends!
