But I know I can't and I've been to plenty of family occasions (my side) with the kids without him - just making a solitary meal for one for my tea cos I've just realised I've had no lunch and I'm starving!! Missing my kids!! Looking forward to watching X-Factor from last week - not seen it yet!!
I think that's the bit most difficult to get used to. Being on your own. Walking into their bedrooms and realising their not there. It does get easier but it takes time.
Its also a challenge trying to be enthusiastic about their day out or staying at daddies and doing this that and the other, all without you.
The good bit comes when he says he didn't have fun because it was hard work and he couldn't relax. Shame!! You can do it.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........

A little girl at work has all her dad's visits written in her school diary, she looks forward to them so much but sometimes they are viciously scribbled out when he doesn't show up. She always tells me its because of his girlfriend and looks broken. if you ask her anything ( are you ok? ) she clams up and gets mad - thats not when I am looking in journal just generally. It breaks my heart. bloody man.its so hard for her mum.
sorry don't why I posted that!Nevertheless she persisted.0 -

Its shows how the children feel when their parents split. Sometimes we forget how confusing it can get for them and playing with their emotions is so unfair.
