Kizzy - try not to read too much into last night.

I think it'll be pretty basic. When he cuddled you before, you felt good - that works both way. He would have felt good too. Now he's alone and not got much to look forward to. He wanted a cuddle from one of his oldest (sorry) friends to make him feel good. (Even though he can't stand to be in the same room as you).

He's sad (literally), confused about what he wants or where he is going and probably feels lost. You said yourself that you take care of most decisions. I think you are his security blanket. When something isn't going right or there is a problem, you are there to fix it or help him. He's not wanting to let that feeling of security go. It's going to take more than a few hours on the naughty step for him to resolve this though.

You are probably right, but I'm not going to be there for him anymore am I ?
I would love a cuddle now!! just at the time I was just so mad with him, for what he's done, I didn't want him to get what he wants all the time & I don't want him feeling sorry for me!! He should be the one feeling sorry

What about getting a cuddly toy hot water bottle cover? I have a winnie the pooh and when its all toasty and cosy its great for cuddling and falling asleep with. It really helped when it was just me.

I am sure that before you know it you wil get used to waking up alone. Once things are more settled and a routine is achieved everything will be so much easier.

I think you are making a mistake going on this trip with him. Can you truly and honestly look deep into your heart and say that you are not still hoping for some kind of reconciliation? Its great that you're having your hair done, but reading between the lines of what you've written about him loving you blonde, it seems that you're doing it for his benefit, not yours. Once again can you look deep into your heart and say honestly and truly that you are not still trying to attract him, change his mind? Please be honest to yourself and what you are trying to achieve on this trip.

Of course I can't honestly say I don't want him back!!
I'm going on the trip anyway, because it's booked & the kids know about it. I probably wouldn't have booked it now! but that was after him being a !!!!!! on Tuesday, this was booked after he was his normal self on Sunday!!
But I am getting my hair done for me, the fact that it will make him think for a moment that I am an attractive woman & that I will find someone else, is also a plus
But yes I'd love everything to be as it was, but it never will be - so onwards & upwards :D
