Go to https://www.aph.com/toysrus for up to 40% off car parking. I have just booked mine at Manchester and got nearly £8 off. I then used that £8 to book a £10 room at Travelodge for the night before.....

Hello, this is to the person who posted about parking at Luton Airport Parkway station. Can you book this in advance, do you have a number? Also, how safe is it? Is it a bit risky to leave a Pay and Display ticket in the car that shows you're not going to be back for several days? Thanks.
You don't need to book - just turn up. You don't leave the ticket on display in the car. Take it with you on holiday. As I said before the car park is manned 24 h and has CCTV. If you go to this link http://www.thameslink.co.uk/display_station.php?s=6 it has more info.

Just wanted to say a big thank-you for this tip. Hubby used it yesterday and was very impressed: easy to get to, close to the airport, and cheap! :D
  • I have just paid £26.49 to park in Bristol Airport Silver Zone for 8 days, this also includes a 1.5% surcharge for a credit card payment ( did not get prior notice of this unless I missed it). Anyway this was the cheapest I have ever found. I got this because I am a member of the Candis Club which anyone can join for a monthly fee of £2.50. For this you get the magazine delivered to your door each month plus numerous other member benefits such as cheaper Home, Car, Travel & Pet Insurances with a £30 cashback guarantee if you find another policy at an equivalent or lower price elsewhere (must be the same level of cover, excess and benefit) haven't checked them out I must admit. There are also other benefits plus free Personal Accident Insurance cover worth £2500 for as long as you are a member; they also donate an amount of the monthly fee to Cancer research. The magazine is full of good articles about health, life etc etc. Go to the website and check it out you've got nothing to lose. Oh and by the way if a member recommends another person and they join, both will receive a £15.00 shopping voucher to spend in the high street. https://www.candis.co.uk

    Why?

There are many airport parking websites claiming to be the cheapest. I thought I'd tap MoneySavers huge wealth of knowledge to gather all of them in one place.

    What do I do?

This may sound naive, but has anyone ever got caught out by using offers meant for employees? I'm talking specifically about APH.com, whose prices are definately the cheapest, but I'd be a bit worried that they'd catch me out :o

Has anyone used Maple Manor Parking. They apparently meet you at the airport but they seem a bit cheaper than the others so was a bit worried after reading some of the entries on this site. Any replies would be appreciated.
  • Cheap Gatwick Hotel and Parking
The travelodge at Gatwick cost me £26.00 for the room (which up to four adults can stay there) and car parking for 8 days cost me £31.50 through holiday extras, this is in April. The only downside is that I think t get these rates your have to book a fair bit in advance

Last year I booked a hotel with parking near Heathrow through https://www.holidayextras.co.uk

The total cost of the hotel (2 family rooms!) with parking actually worked out only about £10 more than parking alone was going to cost us :o

The one thing we did get stung on was the cost of the taxi to the airport, as this wasn't included, the hopper bus service didn't start running until later in the morning. Some hotels include the cost of a taxi, if not it's worth checking taxi prices with the hotel before booking.
