I have no connections with this man, other than being a customer. Send me a PM if you want his details.
Addy.
We have just used the gentleman Addy recommended and were absolutely delighted! He runs the operation with millitary precision and absolute security and didn't even mind it being 04.00 and pouring with rain- Thanks Addy!0 -

you pick up a driver at their base (5 mins from terminals) who takes you to the airport in your own car, then takes it away and parks it.
On your return you ring from customs and they bring your car back to the airport you then drop the chaufeur back at the car park on the way to the motorway.
this service cost £36.90 for a week in September compared to £53 (inc 10% disc at BCP)
They do say that if they are very busy a minibus may be used for the return but for £2.50 a day they do some extras and guarantee a chaufeur.
I had this recommended to me and will be using it for the first time next month.
Not really cheaper but does avoid the hassle of a bus transfer to the airport.
Good luck

I used this service when I was away last week, and it was very simple and saved a lot of stress. The online booking was easy, and the only question that I had was answered promptly.
The drop off/pick up point was easy to find, and the drivers arrived promptly and were courteous and efficient.0 -

Secure parking altho more expensive may be safer.
Just used these last week. MY CAR HAS 300 EXTRA MILES ON THE CLOCK!!
I am wondering what I should do about it. I have an old but classic little 2 seater sports car. I always reset the mileage recorder when I fill up to keep an eye on petrol costs. Before I left for Gatwick I filled up and reset it. I wanted to se what I got on a longish run. I'm about 55 miles from Gatwick and when we set off I'd clocked up 8 miles locally which I checked and memorised.
When we got back I took the car but didn't look at the mileage. Drove home and parked outside the house where it has sat for the last 3 days as I didn't go anywhere. Got into it yesterday to go shopping and looked at the dial. 432 miles on it! The petrol in level looks about right so it's obviously been filled up to what it was before but I'm positive someone has used my car while it was in their keeping. I'm livid.Living on Earth can be expensive, but it does include an annual free trip around the Sun.0 -

This is a most serious case and you should follow it up.
Firstly, I would report the matter to the local Trading Standards Office. They may have had similar complaints.
If not they will log the information and may investigate.
Secondly, I would write to the MD of the company expressing your concerns and ask him to comment.
Lastly, as you can prove the information I would take the matter to the Small Claims Court if you don't get satisfaction from the company.

I am looking for airport parking at Gatwick this July. As we are coming back with my OH parents, I thought about Meet&Greet service. Has anyone heard about Tudor Rose? Are they safe to park and can I be sure that the car won't be left somewhere on the street?Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0

If you are travelling abroad why not use one of the hotels at Gatwick that offers free parking and stay the night before your flight.
I always use the Ifield Court Hotel. They charge £65 for a single room and £85 for a double with 2 weeks free parking. The price includes a full English breakfast and they take you to the airport and pick you up on your return.
You can contact them on 01293 534807

We don't want to stay in hotel. Our flight is on Saturday afternoon, 5pm, and we live quite far from Gatwick. We are working on Friday and it wouldn't be good to leave friday night and then spend half day in Gatwick. We need to prepare the house for guests as we are coming back with the parents of OH.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0
