A lot of you seem to be asking the same questions about how to get cheap airport parking for X airport so how about checking out http://www.looking4parking.com and using the discount code MSE10 for 10% off.

They have services at ALL UK major airports.

I'll be honest, I have an invested interest in the company and didn't want to pretend (like most companies do) I was just a normal person, but thought people may appreciate the discount code this time of year. Airport parking can be expensive so any saving is good.

I use the website personally and actually logged on my personal account to check something out and saw this.

I hope this helps someone save some money.

    Cheers guys.

For a week, well 8 days, it comes up at £26.99 for Luton Airparks (cheapest) + £1 booking fee, total of £27.99.

Whereas Purple Parking for the same is £26.69. Not a huge saving, but not going to pay more for the same thing and why the booking fee?

I'm looking for cheap 'meet & greet' parking at Stansted in August. Does anyone have any tips on the various companies, as there seem so many at very different prices, or even discount codes I can use? Thanks
Well for Stansted I have found the BAA Advance website is the first and probably best port of call. You can either use BAA Worldpoints to get discounts in £10 multiples (500 points = £10) or go via Quidco to get 7.5%. This site quotes for all BAA parking including Valet Parking.

Last year I parked in the Long Stay for just £50 for 14 days ... was even cheeky about the In and Out times (stretched it a couple of hours both ways to save another £5. I booked it just two months ahead for end July. They seem to price not so much on Advance purchase (e.g. as in 9 months) but in terms of simple supply and demand. Looking at August 2011 prices right now, I'd be tempted to wait for up to 6 months before choosing.

As I pass through Stansted quite frequently, almost every trip I have at least £10 worth of Worldpoints to cash in against BAA parking, and they even give you points on the parking you are buying at a discount. At the moment I seem to be getting Double Points on everything as a loyalty promotion. Incidentally, as I had cause to call them wth a query about missing points recently, I can tell you that the BAA Worldpoints Customer Service Team are the most excellent Customer Services Team of any business in the UK I have come across, and are indeed a model of excellence for all businesses to follow, and that from me is saying something. I'll go and lie down now.

I have not used any other source for Stansted Parking for well over 18 months.

Just go to the checkout, right at the end and you will see it.
  • Personally I like to use comparison sites - like Airport-Parking-Quote - to get an idea of what the cheapest car park is and then hunt around the internet for discount codes.

Airport Hotels & Parking deals can also save a lot of cash, particularly if parking for extended periods. Russ Hill at Gatwick offers 15 days parking when booking a room for GBP 67...that's pretty much the same as the cost for the parking but you get a night's stay....
