I am so glad I have been invited to this campaign. Have joined up and looking forward to receiving so I can start the huge pile of ironing I have rejected for so long. Does anyone have any idea how long this will take to arrive?

I just got an invite for the iron, but before I join, I'd like to know people's experiences. I do need an iron, but actually had my eyes on a £10 from Argos. Money is very tight at the moment, so would be really upset to spend £20 on something that would break, given that op's have had poor responses from both Phillips and Bzz, so what do you suggest?

I would jump at it it's a great iron for the price. It saves time and is really easy to use. A great price for what your getting to


I have also e-mailed to ask where we stand with regards to reairs if needed. I said that some members were having problems and getting no help from philips and thought this looked bad on philips as a company. I also stated that we HAVE paid for it, I know it was at a great price but we have paid all the same. I will post the reply here.

jump at the chance your £10 iron won't be much good and the philips comes with all the normal guarentees and is so good and easy to use

I just had an invite for the iron.

I had already decided to say no to the offer if I received it as I really didn't need it and after it's trial period it would probably have sat around un-needed as my current iron is more than adequate for the job. Hope this allows one of you who do need it to get one:)

I have been watching with interest all your comments on the iron and it sounds a really good bit of kit, any chance of you bzzing your husbands by getting them to have a go? Then they might bzz their mates about it for you and hand a £20 off voucher to them to get it for their wives at xmas,lol!
