  • I love the idea that this is a 'typo' - it was clearly stated on the invitation that there would be £20 of vouchers. When I asked where my pack was (as the first voucher would run out on soon) I was told that 'some' packs would be receiving vouchers and that there would be another £10 voucher that would be valid beyond the 12th Dec.

So, even if I was lucky (and I did apply early) and I do get the pack (requested on 25th Nov and only dispatched on the 12th Dec) I would still only get £10.

To be honest, I feel cheated and I would need a lot of convincing now to tell people to purchase the fuel no matter how good it was... I think I will stick with Tesco Diesel.

Personally, im just grateful for any freebie that i wouldnt've had if they hadn't been offering this out. Tis a mistake, annoying yes but nobody is perfect and it would be a boring world if we were.

Here here although not a freebie as such but a big help and not worth getting all wound up in conspiracy theories about . Got my pack today no £10 vouhers but nevermind, got loads of £2 ones. Im not going to get all flustered about it just glad to help pass on the word about shell VPower:beer:

    If this is true ...

"The two £10 fuel vouchers were offered on a first-come, first-served basis"

... how come the packages that were earliest to arrive were the ones minus the vouchers?

Also, if there weren't enough to give 2 x £10 to everyone, why not give twice as many people £10? I would have been happy enough with that as £10 is worth having.

  • Hang on, just had a thought, did somebody say they got a stack of £2 vouchers to hand out? If everybody got those, and the vouchers are stackable up to £50, then whats to stop you filling your tank for free? Or am I missing something?

The vouchers arent stackable to £50, thats just the limit that you can use in one go, there is 12 lots of £2 in the bzz kit. But yes thats still £24 of free petrol

    Just to clear some confusion.
My wife and myself were both accepted for the campaign in 3 days apart and i was the first to receive an invite. we both accepted as soon as we received the invitations.

Both accounts reported teh packs were dispached through DHL on the same day 7th Dec 2009. However, my wife who was the last to be accepted, was the first to receive her pack 4 days ago on 12th on which date one of the £2 off 20l purchase vouchers were present.
My pack arrived late, today and it contained the red envelope in which two £10 vouchers were present and behind them hte T&C's state that they are valid for one year from the date of issue. I dont know when BZZ was supplied these vouchers so cant verify the expiry date of the vouchers. But I am sure both are valid.

And I strongly feel that the expiry date for the vouchers is for the £2 off of a 20l purchase ones and £10 vouchers are NOT expired yet. I would be able to confirm this when i go to shell to fill up tomorrow (I get 300 bonus points for my shell card when i purchase from 16th dec:beer:).

So in your case, Im sure the expiry date is only for £2 vouchers not for £10 vouchers.....
  • I signed up for BzzAgent ages ago and still haven't had any invites to any campaigns or anything. Im starting to think it wasn't worth it. I've filled in all the surveys they offer etc. but heard nothing from then.

Me too. I signed up about six months ago and I have received one campaign invite, which I had to pay £30 for (the hair straighteners one) so I declined.

I still check the website but I don't have much hope of ever receiving an invite. :(
