I just phoned hotel club because although I used my discount it still appeared to charge me the full price. However, it is because I booked with one that did not have an instant confirmation, so he said as soon as the booking goes through and they charge my credit card they'll then charge me for the discounted price so don't panic!

Sorted, got a £37 room in the Algarve (Jan 2009) - 4* Tavira Vila Gale - for just over £8.
The discount works out greater than £25 now due to the $ rate.
No problems, discount taken off, room validated and voucher received.
Went through TCB but not tracked as yet.

Mine tracked yesterday (TCB) after one day but only at £4 and NOT the £15 advertised. My booking was NOT lastminute but for the end of Jan. 09. A enquiry is in for the full amount and I'll update when I hear anything, though there have been lots of issues regarding the correct cashback amount and I'm not fully sure what the outcome has been. Still, a great result, a room (4* Algarve b&b) for £8.50'ish-£4 so far=£4.50'ish for two people b&b.
If the £15 cashback is given I'll get the room for free and change for the first round of drinks. :beer:

We stayed 1 night at the aquafun Hurghada in Egypt including breakfast for nothing .

Unfortunately there was good reason for this ,it was a complete hole !!!!

Thankfully it was only one night .

We booked (2 seperate bookings) to stay at Club Alla Turca in Dalyan for and extra 2 nights due to a return flight cancellation.All went well with booking and it was a fabulous hotel.

My friend and I both booked a room each 2 doubles for single use with breakfast...when we arived they only had 2 single rooms so gave us dinner and a bottle of wine to compensate...So we got 2 rooms with breakfast and dinner with wine for free and got paid 8 pounds.
I like!!!!
