Just thought you might be interested in my feedback.
I was looking to stay at the Euston Square hotel, 1st and 2nd December 2008.
I tried one of the normal hotel discount sites, and I obtained around 7 quotes, 6 were for around £176, and one for £260! ( including "free" breakfast!)
I then tried this site, and it quoted me £198, a whopping £22 MORE than 6 of the 7 other sites I tried!
I think I can see how they can 'give' you $49 / £25!"Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."0 -
Hi,
We booked to stay in the Ramada at Peterborough for one night before embarking on a 5 day camping trip, a bit of luxury before roughing it, or so I thought.
The voucher actually worked and I had a £25.11 discount from the £50 room leaving £24.89 to pay which I actually confirmed the night before on the phone with the hotel but when I checked in and paid the bill, I had to pay £40 instead, I was told the rate was per person and not per room and take it or leave it basically..so we had to take it, we paid £10.00 per head for breakfast on top of this. A warning to others, make sure you find out if the rate is per person or per room. Will not be going there again as the room was very very poor and the cooked breakfast was stone cold. A complaint will be going it.

Didnt it have on your confirmation how many people it was for?
My confirmation sets all this out and totals what i have paid minus discount for 2 adults.
Didnt you complain about the charges or the cold brekkie while you were there?
I am sure if i was paying a tenner pp for brekkie and it was cold or awful they would have known about it pretty sharply."Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."0 -
Spent ages last night booking two rooms in Manchester through this site, having registered a few weeks ago, and gotten the $49 USD added to my account. Yet why's the invoice showing that we've been charged the price WITHOUT the discount?
Has this happened to anyone else? How did you resolve it?
Thanks. I'm really blemmin angry right now.0 -
People should be aware that HotelClub's prices are usually more expensive than booking direct with the hotel. If you're taking advantage of this offer, check first that the direct price isn't more than £25 cheaper!0

I've just booked a hotel in Madrid and used my introductory $49 towards the payment. The booking was instantly confirmed and the price of the hotel was reduced by my free dollars accordingly. I have printed out the invoice and it shows the lower figure charged to my card. I think that if you choose a hotel that has "instant confirmation" then the deal is done immediately and your card is charged the reduced amount at the time of booking.0

Im looking at Holiday Inn Manchester Airport. 55 GBP less my 25 = 30 GBP + includes 7 days complimentary parking0

Booked 2 rooms at Holiday inn Manchester airport. 1 in my name + 1 in wifes and clicked thru via top cashback.
Hotel club credited us $49 each towards the already reasonable £55. So each room cost us £28 odds and that it includes 7 days parking.
. (It doesnt say that on the HotelClub hotel description but it does on Holiday Inn site)0
