  • i have a few that I refer to and KNOW if I had followed their advice I wouldn't be in this mess!

I have bought loads, I couldn't of kept them all.

And I know what you mean about whats the alternative, cos this is not working!

I do feel bad about being on the fish site tho, I know I won't go and meet them am far too frightened.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

I'm sure you'll love it. I did quite a lot of travelling on my own when I was working in Poland (also quite a lot with my best mate, who was working in the Czech Republic) and it's a great feeling. Where are you thinking of going?

Hmm well theres the problem would love to go to America but don't have that type of money  So Italy or france are looking rather good at the moment, am also planning going out for a solo drink on Wednesday, so am feeling rather brave at moment. Now if I could only stop pushing people away I might be onto a winner here :D

Marleysboy first time out on own is always tough it does get easier, I rather think we all need some confidence buliding books to read in Starbucks, or follow mupeteers lead

If anyone wants to practice saying 'Hi' to me then let me know.

    I'm always up for a 'Hi'. ;)

Buffy, I did the same as you, a bit of flirting on the internet, but didn't dare meet them! The way I look at it is that it is a small step out of my comfort zone, and if I can do it online, hopefully that will become less scary, then it will be easier to take it one step further and actually meet them, just look at it as good flirting practice at the moment, and it is such a confidence booster to have men taking a interest in you! It may take me a while to pluck up the courage, and it may go wrong, but it may go right, and it may be fun! It's something I would never have considered a few months ago, always thought it was a bit wierd really, but I have chatted to some really nice people. To tell the truth, I do sometimes still find it a bit odd, but it can be fun too.

Girls, this is silly. I PROMISE you that any guy (no matter how up himself) would never say no to a 'Hi' from a lady. No matter whether he would actually 'fancy' them or not it's still a little boost. Go for it, you'll be surprised at the smiles you'll get back :)
