Sarah - I did kind of have to make sure I gt them all this month - have to say it's been very exhausting running lots of threads & I'm quite looking forward to not having to do it as from sunday
You are both really witty & friendly online & I think honesty is paramount so you'd both be fine off you go shoooo0 -
Aww thanks.
If I meet someone in person I don't have a problem at all, I'm pretty confident expecially if I have friends around. Yet if I had to go on a date I'd be bricking it!
One of the reason I was so successful in meeting women in my 2nd year of uni was that I was comfortable with my surroundings, had friends around and so chatted up loads of girls on the uni forums, facebook groups etc and then just told them when I'd be at an event and so we met up "casually" with easy escape routes for both of us and no need to spend longer than 5 mins saying hi if we didn't want to.The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. TDQ - I think the trick for internet dating is to time the meeting just right;
with the lovely guy, we'd been chatting for so long that I had built up this whole fantasy in my head & then thought how disappointed he would be when we actually met so lost all my confidence & just bottled out
I think your method at uni sounds perfect & meeting in person definitely helps as you instantly know whether there's an attraction or not - big downside to dating sites as a photo is not a substitute for chemistry.
If you're back over here for your final year then you can revert to your previous method & I'm sure you'll have success0 -
Yar my previous method certainly had a pretty high success rate so I'm gonna stick with it! I'll also have the pleasure of dealing with my ex as well... fun times.The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Hi guys,
I entered a comp last year through work and forgot all about it, i didn't win the 1st prize but got a consolation prize which is a 1GB usb stick in the shape of a michelin man and it's got a nice tin to sit it in, I've been so excited you'd think I'd won gold dust.0 -
Woo go eco! Novelty USB sticks are the way forward. You could probably flog it on ebay for a fortune....The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it.
