    sounds intriguing - here's a story for you :

a few year back I went on a date with a guy who bored me to tears by telling me all about his proposed new ebay venture. It was some japanese console game that had a revolutionary controlller , a little stick that you held in your hand & could wave about in different directions but it wanst connected to the acutal console.

He was trying to get selling rights through ebay but as the product wasnt yet finished & ready to retail he wasnt allowed. I didnt see him again & forgot all about it until the wii came out

Really should have taken more notice but he was such a self satisfied bigot I couldnt wait to get home to email him that i didnt want to see him again :o

Yeah there are some ebay nuts out there, I simply do it 9-5, Dont let it rule my life, Well at the minute anyway, Works work when your out you need to chill and have good time, :D

Oh people did turn up in the end... I wandered off to some funny picture sites...

The job will be as much underground time as possible and none of the offices on site are anything other than small, grim and dirty! It's not going to be even slightly glamorous but it will be great experience and hopefully good fun too.

It is kind of strange but he wasnt actually a very nice person, very smug & self satisfied & we dont like that  anyway as Jake said -he didnt get to sell it so :p to him. I found him on a dating site & it did kind of put me off them - I had a free 3 months trial - although a friend of mine is convinced I should go on one . It just seem so ...er.... unromantic :o

so, really it's going to be like digging in the garden but with machines... just curious but what's the attraction ?

Have to say i would love to go & see those huge salt mines up near manchester with trucks the size of small countries... always bothers me though how you miner types know that alll this digging isnt going to one day make the earth fall in
