Hehe, free butter is good butter!

Exactly! One of my 100 things is to get lots of nice freebies, I would obviously prefer a free car or cash, but butter is a good start:D

P.S. I am a little concerned about how excited I am that I got a coupon through the door for a free pack of butter.:o I love free things:j

I know exactly what you mean! I'm exactly the same. Ya can't beat a freebee, especially when it's something useful :j

My sister gave me a little something today that she told me she'd ordered me weeks ago, I had no idea what it was but it turns out it's a notepad from pigsback. It's fab! She said 'it's nothing exciting' Nothing exciting???!!! I was fit to burst! You'd have thought I'd won the lotto :j :j :j

I'm well impressed with non-boyf... he went and sorted all his finances out yesterday. I've no idea how bad they are but he hadn't mentioned he was going to do it or that he needed to so when he rang and told me I felt well proud of him! He sent me a text today saying I was a star and I replied saying 'I dont get ya...how am I a star?' And he said if it wasn't for me going on about MSE all the time he wouldn't have thought to do it, he'd have carried on burying his head until it was too late. SO I feel chuffed to pieces! I'm always telling people about this site (well I think I bore them about it more than just tell them lol) and if at least 1 person has got something out of what I said then I'm happy! :D

Talking of non-boyf ... I forgot to tell you all I'm not going on a date with him anymore. I don't see the point when I don't want a boyfriend so we decided to just keep things as they are and if ever the time comes and we wanna take it further then we can if its what we both want. We said we'll still go for dinner and stuff but it's not a date. It's wierd, its like just friends but we sleep in the same bed from time to time and kiss/cuddle but thats it. Anyways I'm not moaning coz it suits me down to the ground!

I'm doing well on my diet so far this week. 7 weeks to go till Benidorm so I'm on 7 week diet/gym frenzy! So far so good but I'm sure there'll be lots of blood/sweat and tears before the 7 weeks is up! It will be totally worth it though when I'm in Benidorm feeling good and flirting ;)

Is anyone upto anything interesting this weekend? I'm working on Saturday..booo!! It's more money towards the car fund though I guess.

I've been invited to a garden party type thing but i'd only know one person there who is much older than me so it looks like I'll be doing a bit of admin/shopping on saturday then hiding and feeling sorry for myself until tuesday.

Monday is Australia Day so the city will be full of drunken yobs so I'm going to try not to speak to anyone all day incase they hear my accent!!!!

I think that sounds lovely.icon7.gif He sounds really nice and it's good that he is in agreement with you and you don't feel forced into a relationship you don't really want and you can just enjoy spending time together.

Yar, me be jealous ;) It does sound like a good arrangement, I just hope you both make it work and that one of you doesn't get too attached...

Could you just turn up for a while and see how it goes? I know you said you wanted to meet more people, so even though you only know one person there you might get talking to others. Also, there will probably be free food and drink, very MSE!

I have considered it but I really don't know anyone else at all and they will all be late 30's and older. I'm pushing my comfort zones as it is at the moment, I want to go out and make new friends but I'm having to do it in unfamiliar ways and I really don't like it!

When I left the three people I went to dinner with last night I had a massive attack of paranoia that I'd annoyed them and that they only invited me because they feel sorry for me etc etc. I text one of them to apologise (the convo had got rather heated at the end) and she told me to shut up and stop worrying!!

The thing I'm finding hardest is that the only time I can actually say how I'm feeling is on here because I'm really not close enough to anyone over here to open up to them and I can only contact my friends at home once a day through facebook!!
