  • Hi Sarah,

I only have it because I spotted it in Tesco when I did my silly and shameful £125 shop on Monday night.

It does taste nice though! The tv is so crap tonight, nothing is opened, it's like a Sunday night but more intense!!! I wish I had a social life like I had 10 years ago, back then I was out mind you, to tacky pubs and clubs I wouldn't dream of going near now!!!

  • Noone off out to glamorous parties tonight?

Not me :D having driven the length of the country and probably the breadth of it as well (was volunteered for present courier duties) am looking to a pathetically early night. I do still have mates up here but the one I saw last night insisted on telling me about her new religion and my best mate is on hostess duties tomorrow so sounded v stressed earlier!

    Happy Christmas all :snow_grin
I waved to Wakefield and Sunderland en route but didn't know where the rest of you are, so hope you are all having a fabulous, warm n'fuzzy, mulled wine type time.

Absolutely no way I am giving up chocolate btw. I have made a concession by buying Lindt whole hazelnut (the nuts take up chocolate space, so is proportionally less chocolate, more veg :D ) but that's as far as I'm going.

Have only managed to put 8 things on my list for 2009 but that's because the top one is to relax. So it seemed daft to stress myself by listing things I would then get stressed about doing.

BTW car bloke is supposed to be posting me a copy of the receipt for his scratch repair by warranty dealer which apparently is £400  . V cross and actually more annoyed at being patronised about how fortunate I was that he was in London all week so they aren't charging me for a hire car  . I'll pay it because I said I would be I'm afraid I am rather uncharitably hoping that he gets karmic payback.

  • I think I will start my list now I am so bored:

    1. Get a job (dreading being unemployed in a few months).
    2. Get into playing squash
    3. Meet a man (starting to mock the idea now, but I still want it)
    4. Keep away from sponging friends
    5. Hopefully make some nice new friends and hopefully keep the few that I have that are decent
    6. Clear at least £15K of my debt by xmas 2009 (dependent on job - in a year could be way down in debt or bankrupt!!!)
    7. Stop getting angry at tailgaters on the road.
    8. Eat properly
    9. Pass at least 3 exams
    10. Do some volunteering work

Well at least you won't have to do another shop for a while:D

The tv is really poor today, try iplayer, there is lots of good stuff on there and you can pause it to refill your glass/plate without missing anything.
