GRRRRRR!
Have just spent 4 bloody hours trying to work out how my ipod works and how to download all the stuff. What a nightmare, was actually shouting out loud at the computer, lucky I am in the house by myself. It would be a 10 minute job for someone who had a clue what they were doing. I hate being useless at these things. God knows what damage I have caused to my computer in the process.
Hi Sarah
I know exactly how you feel! I got an MP3 player from my former colleagues as part of my leaving gift this year and it took me aaaages to figure out how to use the darned thing and had to ask one of my colleagues for a tutorial
It does get easier with practice, though. In fact, I regularly pop online to download the odd "choon" - all for free of course (let me know if you details for freebies - I'll PM you) :shhh: £27k (excluding interest) paid off in 29 months

Hi - please someone stop me from crashing and burning both my finances and my diet..... I fancy some sweets, well I don't really, I'm just bored and lonely because I can't go out or drive as I'm recovering from an operation and everyone seems to have forgotton about me. So, I want some sweets and have found a website that does old fashioned sweets by the quarter and I WANT THEM!!! and I can get cashback from quidco... But by the time they arrive I know that i'll feel better and then I'll HAVE to eat them so as not to go to waste. Oh ignore me, I'm just being a drama queen and feeling sorry for myself and I know really that spending money won't make me feel better. OK - crisis over, thanks for listening!0

Panic over, I've just remembered that I got some haribo junk for the godkids, I'm sure they wouldn't begrudge their "fairy godmother" one or two....0

Hi Dolly
Don't do it!!! It's not worth it.
I've sat here on my bum all day watching a disappointing film (Million Dollar Baby) and eating choc covered peanuts and raisins and now I feel sick. Shouldn't've have done it and wish I hadn't.
I know the website you're talking about, btw. I ordered loads of sweets from there last year for a 2-day team meeting. Thought it'd be a nice treat for everyone, when in fact most people were over 50 or Australian, so there were only 3 of us who got the retro thing. Needless to say I ended up taking bags of the darn things home with me and I was dead excited about scoffing the lot! To be honest they weren't as good as I'd remembered them.
Have a brew instead. Really, you'll thank yourself if you resist.
Hope you're feeling better soon.£27k (excluding interest) paid off in 29 months

Dolly dumpling, you can buy lots of the old fashioned sweets in woolies and the pound shop - just in case you fancy them later. We still have lots of old fashioned places that still them from the jars up here but they have gone metric now so has to be either 100 or 200g instead!

Well, I've had a crap day so far but on the plus side I bought 2oz of cough candy twists at the footie & scoffed them all.
I've got a thoughly evil hot chilli bubbling away in the slow cooker. (its got so many bird eye chillies in it may even refuse to freeze
)
For a bit later I've got some different cheeses with fruit & stuff added
To help it all down I got 5 bottles of Westons premium organic pear cider for a fiver.
Cheers everyone  *takes several large gulps*

Sounds like you're planning quite a party there, Sunderland! Who were you watching the football today? Not your namesake I hope...:undecided
I've had a quiet day today. Just been watching Strictly (placed my first vote of the series - for Lisa Snowden). I've now got X Factor on, but will have it on mute till Britney's on. Can't be doing with the rest of the programme, but Brit's a bit of a ledge, eh?
Will find some tunes to play on my pooter or on the radio inabit, but will be hanging out with you guys! We know how to paaaarrrr-tay!! (I've got tea and jaffa cakes ready
