nokias are easy to unlock due to the way they originally locked them and then someone cracking the alogorithm to produce a code calc.
note a lot of the new nokias canot be done this way.
see the sticky at the top for details of other makes that can be unlocked free.
there isnt many though

Hi, I am trying to unlock a 6230 on Orange to take an 02 sim.
Been on the tryctill site, tried codes 1 & 7, no luck.
Been on the nokia unlockme site, tried codes 1 & 7, no luck.
Phone still restricted.

IMEI 355038000632241

Any one have any ideas? What cable/software do you need, is it the nokia data lead?

Any help appreciated, think I may have run out of free tries now.

Hi Can somebody help me to unlock my Nokia 6030 which is locked on the O2 network.

The imei no is: 358381000448177

Also, i'm new at this so - what do i do with the code.

put a different network sim in and enter this code
#pw+704090720200051+7#
use the * key to get the PW+ symbols
phone should say restriction off then it may reboot

v3 would be a direct unlock although you can get the code remote for £25

Cheers for the quick reply, the code you supplied was my 5th go and sadly did not work.

Keep getting a kind of "Stop" sign saying 'Cannot Undo Restriction'

were you getting 'Cannot Undo Restriction' before? as that means it has already had all the tries.
its a direct unlock now im afraid
