I know you have said you are doing it the old fashioned way but if you find yourself struggling have a think about the Cambridge Diet (I am a Cambridge Diet Counsellor). After the first few weeks you will lose about a stone a month. It is the only diet that has ever worked for me (I lost 5 1/2st) & one of my customers lost 11 1/2 st last year (halved their body weight) & won the slimmer of the year competition.

If interested you need to contact a local counsellor & go to see them.

    I hope this helps someone.

I've got the Paul McKenna book too but it's not a patch on Marisa Peer's book for some reason.

CD is ok I started it but couldnt stick it as couldnt go without eating. And also found cd really quite expensive.

I have done ww before and lost 3 stone but put it all back on again during my pregnancy (little one is 8mths now) so will try and follow that again I think and do my fitness dvd and then when I get a bit fitter may start using my dads gym equipment

Cool! Good luck and keep us posted.

Just remember, it's not about dieting and all that 'being good' crap that everyone talks about. It's your attitude to food. You really don't need to eat as much as you think. Hypnotherapy is soooo powerful and it's far easier to make changes than using willpower alone.

Her voice is a bit annoying but stick it with it and try to listen to it every day. I normally listen to it when I go to bed. You will notice a difference, I promise!

  • Bam - Not following any plan in particular...

Basically I am trying to not snack so much and if I do have fruit or something (the biscuit tin comes around 3 or 4 times a day at work but I'm managing to pass)

I am trying to make sure I eat brekkie every day because that is something I never do, so from last monday to today I have had it everyday, sometimes cereal mostly a slice of toast (HM bread and HM jam is too much to resist!)

Trying to eat less meat, never thought about that until I was watching supersizers go and she said that meat stays in your digestve system for 4 days (I don't know if its true but it made me cringe) and we then had a week with no meat at all. I felt much better at the end brighter and less bloated... I cant go withuot it altogether but less is good. Trying to find replacements (e.g. spag bol with lentils not mince..)

Trying to eat healthier meals and reduce portion sizes, the OH did dinner yesterday and when I got in to eat i looked at the plate and said 'i would have done that much between the two of us never mind just me' the words eyes belly and bigger come to mind with the OH....

So, just trying to think before I put things in my mouth, 'am i hungry, do i need it, do i need that much, what am i eating..' etc etc...

My only down fall is pringles atm but only cause they were reduced in my sainsburys.... weeks are fine but its weekends that are my downfall..
Muddling through debt but can't see any light at the end of the tunnel??!!
