Hi there,
I'm going on holiday to Spain in the next couple of weeks and was wondering if anyone knows of any sites where I could compare the cost of Spanish networks to see which the best local sim card would be?
I've seen sites that show coverage of different local networks but not costs. Then when I get there I know which will be the best one to buy.
cheers for any help0 -
this would be great to know, or does anyone know of a good sim to buy over here to receive and make calls in spain.

Guys, this tends to not be the best deal if only using Europe and for a short time unless your calls are within Spain as international calls back are expensive too. try telefonica
look at your Uk mobile operator and see what deals they do in terms of International Call saver packages, many now do roaming bundles you prepay before you go too!0 -
http://www.prepaidgsm.net/en/spain.html
is the sort of thing you are looking for, with tariffs and plenty of other info and with links to the networks' site themselves
rather than calling international direct from the foreign SIM card, using a calling card with a local access number will be much cheaper0 -
I'd like to know what's the best way to make and receive calls when on holiday in spain for 3 weeks from July 29th. Advice please.

I have a oneroam sim for traveling in europe
http://www.oneroam.co.uk/sim-cards.aspx?m=3&mi=64&ms=0#FREE
receive calls for free and make calls home for 27p credit never expires out so same number every trip
plus using their 0871 number calls to the phone from the uk cost only 10p per min
http://www.oneroam.co.uk/sim-cards.aspx?m=3&mi=64&ms=0#NUMBER
used it in germany and france so far off to south africa same deal there so its more than paid for its self

Is that Oneroam SIM one with a Liechtenstein or Estonian number? I'd still look at a Spanish SIM for any significant quantity of calls. Though the ordinary tariff is not wonderful, there are still some cheap options like Vodafone's 60 for 1 minutes that can be combined with a calling card to make calls for less. Or use callback with any SIM to avoid it's own tariff ...0

its got an Estonian number I think0

Hi,
I'm going away to Spain in the next couple of weeks and am lookinf for a cheap local sim card. Has anyone tried https://www.orate.co.uk or https://www.textbaysims.net and have any feedback? Orate seems a bit more expensive but I have no idea if the service is good with either!
Any comments welcome.0 -
