Everyone at CPW that I've spoken to on the phone, and a visit yesterday to two stores confirmed the deal is out of stock. (The shops are apparently able to check the internet availiability too). Internet placed orders placed were apparently "backed-up" in their system awaiting manual processing. This backlog meant that Fridays were only just being processed on Tuesday Morning (confirmed by CPW internet team). Stock showed on Monday, but not on Tuesday - If you work this out logically this means that orders placed (awaiting processing) are unlikly to be forfilled (and hence explains the 'order pending/processing' status we are all in!). Despite placing orders while "stock showed" as the system is not "real time" is means we are unlikly to get phones - unless they have a new delivery of phones. The moral in this situation is - we should have placed via the phone pre-Tuesday morning to Gurantee purchase.

PS - The closest 'deal''s they seam to have is the 6630 on an 18 month, three 600 tarriff (500/100), with free 12 months line rental, then the remaining 6 months at £30 ....0 -
Hi. CPW still have these phones in stock so I believe they shoud honour the deal for people waiting. Its not our fault they sell online and then do not have the software to say out of stock.
I ordered on Monday. No news yet.0 -
P.S. Why have they got a back order button for this deal? I presume they are getting some more in.

Yes and Yes - I'm also waiting and agree totally ....
If they physically have 6630's (regardless of contract type) they should honnor the package we purchased (which said it was in stock when we placed our respective orders) ....
I also pointed out that we use the Web to pace our orders with CPW, and effectivly enter all our own purchase information (which saves their agent time and any need to pay agent commission!), and it now looks likley we will be disadvantaged by using the internet to place the order ! At least as an act of good will - CPW should be honnoring all the genuine orders that were placed when the stock showed as being "availiable" !!!!
Lets see what happens ....0 -
Stock is showing as limited now.
I ordered on Mon 31/10 and stock was showing as available, but have only received the email for confirmation of order.0 -
CPW internet team have just confirmed (in a phone call) that the back-log in processing has been caused by the success of the Motorola V? (Pink Phone). It has resulted in internet orders for other phones being delayed and hence the issue where the manual processing that has to take place has meant that some phones ordered when stock showed might not have been furfilled. As a result the internet team have apparently 'released' (or got hold of) another batch of 6630's !! They are now saying that as many orders as possible will be furfilled.
 (I Hope) !!0 -
