    Good morning everyone!

It's been a long time since I was last on the thread, as in my first 2 terms teaching my own class (years 5 & 6) with all of the pressures of the SATs, I've hardly had any time or energy left to do anything but go to bed, and do the bare minimum in terms of flying. I hope now that I'm on holiday, I'll be able to keep up with the lists, as the flat is back to how it was before I found this site (in pigpen's words - a pit)!

I hope everyone is well, and that all of my old friends on here will forgive my absence. :o

I'll be back to supply teaching in September, as I was unable to find a job for September, so will hopefully find one for January. I need to do one more term as an NQT (newly qualified teacher) until I can teach wherever I want to. :T

It was really nice yesterday, as a lot of the children gave me cards and presents to thank me for teaching them, and the staff gave me an impressive Kenwood food processor, so I'll be able to do a lot more baking and cooking now.

Well I'd best get onto the list. I'll be putting it into a Word document each day, to prevent me spending all of my time on here chatting.

Take care everyone. It's nice to be back!

However obviously during the night it has fallen over and some prat has parked on it:confused: Some people are beyond stupid, council better not blame me!

Still sitting here snivelling, didnt get a chance to pick up anti-histamines yesterday:rolleyes:

Thanks everyone! It's really nice to be welcomed back so warmly. Am making headway with my list - decided to just start on Thursday, rather than trying to catch up with the rest of the week. One load of washing in the machine, as tomorrow is forecast rain. Don't normally change sheets til Sunday, as OH helps me do this before he goes out to his shooting club, so just have the duvet rolled back, and the bed airing at the moment.

    Morning!
Am sitting in PJs, with steaming mug of coffee contemplating getting my wobbly bottom into gear!! (sorry to put anyone off their cornflakes!!!)
Gingerkids are off to sports camp at school so I can do some time at my desk at work. Then the plan is to go for level 2 AND to send back the insurance claim form after I pranged the car.
    TF - wonderful news!
Rach - good luck for OH
Hugs to everyone else in need!
    See you later!
