You are not alone - I bought pointy curved nail scissors with points last week. Can I find them anywhere?!

can anyone tell me a bit more about the boots weight loss programme please.

Have tried to look online but dont seem to be getting anywhere

  • I am really cross with Boots though, because the SA refused to let OH have the No7 GWP, even though the signs all say on "ALL No7" and the word "ALL" is in bold. Apparently the till said no as the stuff was clearance, but tills can be overridden...

I got the GWP with my 7 pink boxes yesterday and paid with points at SS till no probs.
  •:mad: How very rude and absolutely uncalled for! I think you should take this up with the Store Manager - and if you don't get a satisfactory response, then a letter to Customer Services.

    Hear! Hear! That's outrageous
  • Hi all
Went bootsing today, spent a whopping £45! I completely miscalculated how much the expert glitch would take off and got too much to 'cover it up' Only got 1500 points too, wish id known it would come to over £30, couldve used my mailing, double points and acm 250 points wys £30  Bum bum bum!!!!!
Slough had 1 roc set @ £8.75, clearance has vanished too:rolleyes: No 7 pink gwps are £3 so i grabbed one of those as i do like that gwp :) Anyway im off to sulk as my shop didnt go the way i planned:rotfl:

with all the latest hoohaas from boots coming down hard on people with taking away points, i have been spending mine like theres no tommorrow, stocking up on everything on offer, bogof and just odds, as I started getting wary a while back - i've not had any hassle but I'm doing it to be on the safe side, as for lynx showergels they sell well on me carbooty for a quid each ;)

did hear from an SA that there are fraudulent parenting club vouchers about for nappies but she couldn't tell me anymore on that and so they are checking things a bit more.
coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there
    (meaning under the buggy lol):D

Please get your confidence back and report this SA. Do they not understand that vouchers are issued by the Manufacturers to ENCOURAGE people to try their products. Once you have tried it, if you like it, you buy more and tell your friends, the manufacturers make their money back. End of.

I tell you I was very angry when I read your post and wanted to write a letter myself on your behalf. You are doing something legitimate and spending a voucher that the manufacturer has specifically paid for to be placed in a cheque book in a prominent magazine. The reason for this? To gain new customers. So if all the customers, because of this SA did not buy any mark hill products, where would Mark Hill be? Suing this SA I hope!

Rant over! Hope this gives you the courage to report this SA. Feel free to quote me about the manufacturers.

I am going to use my Mark Hill voucher at Boots and hope I don't receive the same treatment, otherwise will be complaining.

saying that, am still waiting for a response from customer service, haven't had a reply to my email to them.
  • *sighs* It just upset me hunni, I'm normally quite confident but with her sarky comment, I just fell to bits (didn't cry in front of her though!) I just hate complaining, I'm not good at it :o I will see if I can pluck the courage up :o

This is what happens when peeps get too greedy:rolleyes: I had a feeling boots would start clamping down.

Hmm I agree, I didn't use both vouchers together as it kind of felt a step too far to me. (Med preg BOGOF on the other hand.....:D )
  • Sorry to hear of your experience mrsbluebear, i am really angry on your behalf:mad:
