    Hey everyone,

Yes I was at lunch (at my desk) bargainfinder, and should be working now but the manager is at a meeting right now so I'm playing!! So you're an administrator, so am I. I'm happy where I'm working as I love my team but my new manager is a bit of a wet fish - no balls and the team is basically working like he's not here because he's focusing on other things.

Losing posts - that's what happened to me the other day, I was so annoyed - so I end up doing quick replies that's why there aren't any animation in my replies most of the time.
  • Icka, I'm so impressed with you going to the gym! I have had membership for the past year, and have not used.. I have cancelled now, but as in 12 month contract, have to pay until Sep this year. So everytime I pass it on the way to work, I tell myself I should go evey day for the last month to make the most of my money... but I just dont!! In my defense, when I joined I worked 10am - 3pm, and now I work 8am - 4pm... so I don't have half as much time as I used to.. but still....?!

  • Hi Tess, my manager leaves at 3, so I will be playing as well!!
Just me in the office from 3 - 5! I am technically a Co-ordinator, but at the moment I feel like a bit of a pleb... slight micromanaging issues going on. Our office consists of a CEO, Admin Manager, Professional Services Manager, Co-ordination Manager... and me... er... anyone heard of the expression 'too many cooks'.....

  • Well done Icka! I'd like to join a gym but I just can't justify the money when I can't even motivate myself to walk to work regularly! Sometimes I leave my car at work and that makes me walk in the next day but I've only done that a few times, I need a big kick up my bum to get me going!!

I walked past a shop window today and thought my reflection looked really fat! hate those moments and they ruin the whole day, please tell me other peopl have them!

I don't like soup, i wish i did as I know it's a good healthy eating meal but it just reminds me of being poorly! lol!

Bargainfinder, oh how much do i love soft crusty bread!!! I want some noooowwww!

  • Dont worry crazy, I get them all the time.. most times it's when I put my nicest outfit on and set out with my chin up high.. then I walk past a clean glossy window and see what I actually look like... trousers around my ankles cos stretching them round my belly has pulled them up, fat tops of my arms... chubby cheeks.. ok so it's probably not that drastic - but it feels it!! (weeps...)!!

Ah well - it's what's on the inside that counts! And we will get there! We will! xx

  • Oh thanks Bargainfinder! I'm glad I'm not alone in doing that! there is a lift at work with mirrors and I know I shouldn't even use it as I should be using the stairs but I'm lazy and go in it about ten times a day then spend every journey critizing myself! grrrrr!

I'm going to lunch in a min and can't decide if I'm going to eat the boring pate sandwich I brought in or go to lunch with a friend and buy a panini?? I know what I should do but I don't want to!

I'm sorry I'm feeling very low today but it's just time of the month so ignore me!!
  • I know exactly how you feel... I used to love getting a panini and chips!! (and chips :O!!)
Make the decision yourself.. eat the sandwhich and think positive thoughts... or make an informed decision to get the panini; but eat very little for tea tonight / stop when you are full, even if your mouth wants more....

Easier said than done I know... each small victory is a victory - if you resist the panini, we'll celebrate with you, if you don't then we'll support you - none of us are perfect!

I know if I had a canteen near me I would be eating a panini right now!! Where do you work? xx

Hi Crazy I have those moments all the time. Especially when trying to buy clothes. When I put on the weight at the beginning of the year I went up one maybe two dress sizes. Nothing fitted me. I didnt notice the weight piling on because I was off work sick and I was wearing a trakki all the time. So when I went to try on any of my jeans not only did they not fit but I couldnt get them past my hips.

Going in to shops to buy clothes when you feel like a whale is not fun. A. when you have to pick things off the rails two sizes bigger that normal and they are still tight. Its heart breaking.

So rule number one and two for me are

ONLY WEAR TRACKSUIT PANTS WHEN DOING EXERCISE

It is a very very important rule or else you just can not gauge the weight going on.

NOT BUYING ANY MORE CLOTHES IN A BIGGER SIZE

going to slim down to fit my old ones

    Hopefully it will go well
Thread softly becuase you thread on my dreams
