Got the job I wanted in London but still not managed to move my house down to London as the flat we where going to rent fell through! Argh! So currently depending on the kindness of friends and staying at theirs while OH and DD are still up north
Once I get moved in somewhere and settled though I will be back on track!
Managed to get some artist liaison work at the Scotish Royal Variety Performance next month too, not paid, but should be fun!0 -
Managed to ditch 2lbs this week wooohooooo! All the walking around with work is agreeing with me at least. If I can keep this up I will easily be back to a weight I feel comfortable being by Christmas! But thats my weightloss up to 20lbs, I want 2lbs off by Thursday when i work in Glasgow! Not sure how I can pull that off lol as I am working monday, tuesday and wed and LOTS to do tomorrow so very little time to exercise.
COme on guys - lets get this thread back on track?!0 -
EmmyLou, that is amazing, well done!!!!!!!!!! A 20lb loss is no mean feat. I am aiming to lose that much but am getting nowhere... although today has been quite restrained!Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Thanks tara, but thats 20lbs from the start of this thread haha, so its taken me well over a year to do it. Good side is that because its been so gradual, i havent been putting it all back on at the drop of a hat! 1lb more off and I will be overweight rather than obese lol which is something I have wanted to hit for the past 6 months! and its nice to be the lightest I have been from I had DD almost 3 years ago!
Think im going to try and live on something like beans on toast once a day and soup for the rest of the day for the next week, really want to be that 10 stone something next week! I feel so close to being back in my size 10's that it hurts!0 -
Hiya Girls, hows everyone doing. I'm way off track, not doing good at the moment
Jx1st January 2012 £2500 and 56lbs debts
22nd Oct 2014 £1500 and 42lbs debts0 -
Hi bluejeans, long time no see! I've been gaining and losing the same few lbs since January, I was 128.5lbs in May but I put on 8lbs. Now I've lost 1.6lbs in a week so I'm 134.4lbs at the mo. If I keep going at this rate I'll be well happy and will hit my target by New Year. Watch this space!

EmmyLou, 20lbs is 20lbs, and you've lost it slowly and sustainably. You should be proud. OTOH, living on beans on toast and soup for a week is not going to do you any good pet (and you know it). Stick with your tried and tested methods for success xoGet to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Hi Guys
Well done Emmy!!! You have done so well!
Tara - sounds like you are well on the way to your goal
Blue - ive fallen off the wagon as well - am now fluctuating around the 13st mark - i have got great plans to do some more exercise but um, havent
Really miss the motivation this thread used to give me! Maybe we should all kick it off again?
Today - i am going to try to only eat my lunch at work! (along with the fruit that i have brought) because im having a few issues at the moment which means i want to eat carp for the sake of it!
on a positive note - i was gonna have fish and chips last night because i had a pants day and really, really wanted comfort food - instead, i went straight home and made myself a jacket potato and cheeseI did have 4 caramel shortbread pieces for pudding though ....................
Im trying to stop myself snacking in the evening by sewing so my lovely bf bought me a cross stitch kit to make for our friends littleone for christmas so i started that last night and was so focussed on sewing i didnt eat anything else
Hope everyone has a good food and money day0 -
Hello everyone!!
It's been aaages since I posted on here. I have started on slimming world and lost half a stone. It's the perfect plan for me as you can eat as much as you want - just don't eat a lot of rubbish and you are fine. It is really weird, you can eat 2 cooked chickens, but a couple of bags of crisps are syns, never mind, it seems to work for me.
I'm glad to see that you are all doing well, I hope you trip to Glasgow goes well emmy, it is a good place.
Speak soon. xx0
