Morning ladies... this is gonna be a long one... I'm going to update you all with my progress...

First up. Diet. :o

4 weeks ago I joined a gym, it was through work and I got a corporate rate which was made even better by joining with someone from work on a joint corporate rate so its very MSE :D

I also took out a trial time with a personal trainer, I got a few sessions for about £50 and if I chose to continue I'd need to pay the full £350 . But Anyway I though I dont need to take it if I dont want to, but the £50 was well spent because I have 5 sessions with this guy and he made a programme, took my weight height etc and worked out something just for me. He also teaches spinning and body combat so I get added into those classes which I get free at the gym anyway.

So in 4 weeks I have lost...... 6lbs!!! And my body fat % has gone from 26% to 24% .

Now onto debt...

Still not made any headway into my credit card, I am just puddling along making regualr payments (usually around £100 when the minimum is £30) so its reducing but slowely.

However as of the end of this month I get a payrise :j:j:j and I have worked out that it should equal about £200 a month. SOOOO I am planning to up my credit card payment to £175 minimim.

Also, I do have money in an ISA at the moment which I am not allowed to touch until I am 25, but my uncle spoke with me the other night and because this is only getting 0.50% (!!!! eh?!) he has asked what I'd like to do with it. Its £3000 and that would pay my credit card back and still leave £1500 in the ISA.

Do I do it?

Sorry for the long post, I had alot to update you on!

Kmac xx

Thanks Skint Lynne for the welcome, i like it around here and plan to stay

Hey Kmac_Edin re your dilema bout credit card, my advice would be to pay off your credit card, then you will be well and truly rid of it. It can be a weight on your shoulders, (im talking from experience here) and it feels great not to have a big hefty bill. If you do pay it off you still have money in your ISA and with your extra money from your pay rise, you could maybe top this up (sorry dont know too much bout ISA's yet). Im only giving this advice as someone who has always had credit cards and always struggles to pay them off, ive come to the decision age 39 that i cant have a credit card or any store cards as i just run up debt steadily. You are still young, pay off the card, put it down to experience and enjoy not paying back the bill at the end of the month :j

Hey All :D

Well done on going to Aldi Mackeroo i think that most people find dropping down a brand is easy on some items but very difficult on others (things like tea and coffee tend to be a big no for people)

hey Lynne, how is the job going? are you enjoying the travelling? i know its really tiring but you will soon get used to it :D

Well Done Kmac :T:T:T:T:T 6lb is great :j I think that you might be better off paying off your cc if you then move the savings into a new isa - then you could just take the money that you have been paying on the CC and use that to increase your savings :D just a thought x

ive been bad on the diet front today - ate loads and loads and off to the cinema tonight as well so its just gonna get worse.

But tomorrow is a new day and im going to get right back on it - im really working on not persecuting myself.

Have found out that the local swimming pool that was damaged in the floods is re-opened so i am going to find out times and then buy myself a new cossie and see if i cant start going regularaly :)

Hey everyone
Thought i would share with you my good news, i had my first weigh in at WW 2nite and lost 5 pounds, :j im really pleased as i kinda went off track a couple of times..i think that it helps that ive stopped having a large glass of wine on a 'school night' (saving me loadsa calories and cash!) and as my back is getting a bit better i have been out for a couple of walks this week. I still havent plucked up the courage to look at my weight, which in a weird way is good for me, coz i know that as soon as i know my weight, a) it will get me down and b) i will go back to my old habit of weighing myself at least 3 times a day, rather obsessive to say the least!
Hope you all well

Well done mackeroo!! Thats a great loss for your first weigh in :D

I had another session with my PT yesterday morning and he really destroyed me, I am aching today. But no pain no gain I guess. Hes also put me on a food diary....

Basically I've been very bad in only eating when I'm hungry and because I'm so busy all the time I dont usually stop and listen to what my body is telling me, so the result has been I've hardly been eating and apparently he could tell this just by looking at me... oops!

So I have to write down everything I eat and I also have to record all the excercise I do and I have to hand it to him every week on a Tuesday. I'm also banned from weighing myself ( he will do that for me) and I'm not allowed to measure myself either ( he does that too... I'm not complaining because hes fit anyway!haha).

How is everyone this fine morning? xx

I hope you are all staying away from the chocolate eggs!!!;)

I'm in the shop today as I am off work, it is very quiet, not a soul around!! Never mind. I am just catching up on paperwork etc cause I am not in every day now. The eating is okayish, I'm just trying to eat meals and not snack in between, and of course, I am trying to deal with my debts, one day, they must come to an end.

Have a lovely easter everyone. xx
