Well done WTBAS,
You are doing really well, just keep on trucking as they say, you will be shimming about at Christmas in a sparkly party dress if you keep up this good work!!! I kept looking today to see if anyone was on, I just hate posting after myself.

well done wtbas that's good going. i was out for dinner last night for xmas do and was very good - steamed fish with green veg and a few boiled new potatoes - no starter and no desert! one glass of wine and 2pints. then today it took me an hour to walk the four miles to collect my car. and have only eaten a small sandwich, diet yoghurt and 2 oranges. tomorrow is pesto pasta for lunch and steamed organic salmon with green beans for dinner.
also got work bonus so paid off my credit card in full and made an extra payment to my loan so financially feeling good. have all my pressies bought too and bought a tree (£2 silver cheapie from tesco) all i have to do is write my xmas cards, get my bike tyres pumped up tomorrow and keep going. even though it feels like i'm fighting a losing battle somedays i know all i have to do is just keep going - if i mess it up i can start again the next day and i think the longer i keep going and feeling positive the easier it'll get - right? surely it has to get easier?"I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better." The money neutral challenge is where you pay for all presents with 'free' money. This comes from surveys on internet, I am a member of a couple of these sites, coupons you take to the supermarket, eg, if you have a coupon for £1, use that and save the pound for a present, car boot sales etc.
In other words, you get to the point where you are not spending cash on any of your prezzies. I got to know about it on the 4K thread where one of the girls has managed all of her gifts throughout the year on money neutral, she has got them all for nowt through sheer hard work. She also looks out for sales etc to make the 'money' go further.
I'm going to try it anyway. There is a thread for it, just type money neutral challenge into the search box and it should come up. I think it's under special occasions and celebrations.
Doggy sitting is going okay, she has fallen asleep now!!
