  • Hello everyone,

Well, I've just had my wee carry out for tonight, my can of gin, one can dan, that's me:rolleyes: .

I have also eaten 3 packets of frazzles:o . Well, tomorrow is another day!!!
I'm sorry that the craft fair was slow WTBAS, I hope it gets busier next week, the shop was slow yesterday and today, thank goodness for the parties, I am going to crank them up for next year, as they are fab.

Emmy, just be careful of those tablets, I know I am an old stick in the mud, but I just think that they are a waste of money. I have watched my dad on everything under the sun, slimming pills, herbalife diet, slimfast, chinese herbal thing, accupuncture, inch loss wrap, bai lin tea, you name it, he has tried it. He went to the dietician once and the guy offered him to take his job away as my dad knew more about dieting:rotfl:

The diet pills were from an ex-colleague of mine, she was like a budgie and rushing about all over the shop. It was really funny, but she ended up piling on the weight after she decided to give them up, and she had terrible withdrawl from them, that's when we twigged that there was speed in them!!

I hope that they work, but just stay on them for a short while. I'll bet that you look fantastic anyway!!

Speak soon ladies, I won't have a good day tomorrow as you all know what a sunday is to me, eating day!!!!
  • Ok day 1 on these things, ive deffinately ate less than normal but i did remind myself to eat regularly to keep my digestive system working as i dont want it slowing down by not eatting! Had 2 slices of brown toast for brekki, yogurt for lunch and 2 cheese, veggie chicken and salsa wholemeal tortillia wraps for dinner washed down with 400mls of fudge milkshake lol and even though i wasn't hungry i did eat a chocolate bar doh. I felt a bit sick after it though and the 2 tortillias made me feel full to bursting point. So i guess the key is smaller portions of the same foods i normally eat? I did say to a friend it could all be placebo at the moment, but we will see how it goes by next sat when i weigh in.

Off to Birmingham in the morning to go see the script with a friend woohoo so wont be back on until monday afternoon - hope you all have a lovely sunday xx

  • Hi,

Hoping I've done this reply right:confused: Can I join the lose weight thread?

I've lost all motivation to stay fit and lose weight. On a positive note I stopped smoking 17 days ago and feel fab for that, but I reckon I've put 7lbs on over the last 17 days:o which i can't really afford to do.

I need to lose 4st [god it feels awful to say that].

I'm starting at the gym tomorrow night though.

Think you've all done great on your weight loss, wish i'd joined up months ago!
  • Hi everyone!

Have been reading this thread for ages ! Hope I can join too? Since starting this challenge I have lost 3kgs (sorry - don't know what that is in pounds or stones). My plan is to cut down on bread and cheese and actually use the gym subscription! I pay £18 a month. Can't really use the gym as have bad knees but swim 2 a week and am planning to up that to 4 a week. I can easily do this as I swim during my lunch break and am bored of all the shops/museums/parks etc around me!! I need to lose at least another 12 kgs before i think I am a good weight although all my friends sweetly say I dont need to lose any. ( I really do need to, they are just being polite!)
  • Yay! New people! Welcome and good luck!
I was naughty this weekend as I just grazed and didn't have proper meals because I was so busy meeting up with lots of people as I was back home for the weekend. But i did have a lovely weekend, was good money wise over all, I got tesco pizza instead of Pizza hut on Fri and didn't drink alchohol on Sat eve and left early enough to get a bus rather than a cab. I did get in a bit of a christmas tat buying frenzy on sun with a friend but I don't think it was too bank breaking as it was all quite cheap. I got some packs of fimo for 50p so looking forward to trying that out!

Good luck Emmy, and be safe!!

I wish i was near you both, WTBAS and Lynne, i'd love to go to one of your parties!
    xx

  • TOday - low fat yoghurt for breeekie
Lunch - baked potato with chilli
Supper - Had work function, so 2 glasses champagne and 6 (really tiny) canapes.

    Current weight 76.6kg (goal 65)
  • ok yesterday I had :Yoghurt
Pizza hut wedges, 1 piece of garlic bread and a pasta dish (tomato and mozzarella something or other)
A flapjack and a cup of tea with milk.

Today I had: An egg, 1/4 of a tin of beans and 2 grilled has browns
2 veggie chicken sarnies on brown seeded bread
1 tortillia wrap with a bit of veggie chicken, salsa and tiny bit of cheese
    Small chocy bar.

Had a great time at the gig and managed to get a piccy with the band :) Just waiting on the girl who took the photo for me emailing me it so i can get giddy and excited lol.

Not feeling a huge difference from these tablets really. Yes less hungry i never feel "hungry" as such. But that doesn't stop me "craving" foods which is my problem I guess. Also I keep trying to ensure I am having my 3 main meals which means im not living on fresh air like i guess some people do - but thats purely because im too wary of slowing my metabolism down by starving it!
