Hi owens3116
- Jo (Bluejeans) will be along tomorrow, I'm sure, to welcome you officially to the thread, but as she works nights, I thought I'd say hello in the meantime!
You are definitely in the right place for support here - feel free to post anything...chances are one of us will either have done it too, or still struggle with overcoming the problem!! On our own, its difficult, but with friends who know where you're coming from, life is much easier (and better!!).
Its nice to have you on board...!

Hi Ladies,
Just a quick post before bed, I've been at my mum's tonight spending time with the other man in my life as Mr Skint is on the other side of the world. He is gorgeous, black hair, tanned skin and big brown eyes, all the girls swoon over him, he is my wee nephew, 9 months old and is like a mexican jumping bean, he never stops!! I'm knackered!!
I'm going to be busy tomorrow Icka has kindly sent me a copy of her friend's CV which I will copy my details onto. Then I will send it back to be marked :rotfl: . I knew mine was pants, especially when I saw the one that was sent to me. I must be getting old, my CV was top notch in the old days!!
Not good again today on the eating front. Mum did not make dinner again, it was the chippie tonight, I really have gone off takeaways, I was going to make something but they persuaded me to have that and I didn't like it. Mum agreed and we are going to make sure the shopping is in for next week. I might even start juicing again myself, I used to do it all the time and it's great. You could live off of the juice no problem. My dad uses the Udo oil as well Icka, but I haven't. It's quite expensive I think, where do you buy yours, from Holland and Barrett? My dad gets his from a health shop in Glasgow.
Nice to see you joining us Owens, Blue Jeans will probably be on in the morning to welcome you officially. The girls on here are a great bunch and very helpful. I'm getting good career advice and allsorts of other support. Speak to you all tomorrow,

Sorry hit post and didnt finish my post.
Ok to get to the point. The research I have done has all come up with the same reason. I am lacking EFA's (essential fatty acids) Like omega 3, 6 and 9. There fore my body can not break down the lipids in the food I eat and stores it around my middle.
So I am off to buy some Omega's and some Udo's oils and hopefully this will make me feel and look better. As well as exercise and a proper diet of course.
Where do you carry your weight????
Duh, sorry for not reading further than your last post!!!:rotfl: Definitely getting my hands on some EFAs ASAP!!!Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

hi guys
i hope you don't mind if I join you. I tend to eat loads when I've overspent. I kinda realise straight away that I've made a big boob, and eat the most awful amounts of junk. I'm doing slimming world at the moment, my gp "prescribed" it, due my size and my AS. I was doing ok till last week and I gained a pound. I couldnt stick to my food budget and was craving sugar all week. ARGHHH
Started again on Wednesday, slipped tonight, but hoping for a better day tomorrow!LBM:FEB 2008

Hiya Everyone, No i haven't fallen of the face of the earth. I have my granddaughter staying with me, age 10 months. We have her till Sunday afternoon. Gota have eyes in the back of ya head. Off till Sunday night, just have that one to do, then off for 6 nights woooo hooooo.
Hiya to New friends, I will post you all personally ASAP. Its at the moment 7.20am and I sitting here with a coffee, eyes just open. So thank i can get a bit done before she wakes.
Update on my nights, over all much improvement but room for lots more. But I am not beating myself up about it, as I have done int he past, and I hope all my new found Friends are doing the same.
On the finance front yesterday was my first payday since joining this FAB site. So this is my first chance to prioritize my money and spends. First test today. We are taking out granddaughter to the Farm. I have 3 jobs (don't gasp in amazement) 3rd job is just a teeny weeny one, but gives me £60 a month. Well I have decided to use this as our treat money. We do not smoke or go out very often, very rare OH has a drink, unlike me. I think I may need to start a "wino" thread ha ha. We love our gardens and days out, when we can afford it.
I am finding talking about my food issues a fabulous help. harder to talk about my debts. I WOULD RATHER NOT PAY A BILL AND GO OUT TO THE SHOPS AND HAVE COFFEE OR DAY OUT WITH FRIEND. ANYTHING THAN PAY THE BILL. OMG Ive have said it, never ever told another living soul that. i am soooooo ashamed of it. But its out now, so have to make good on it.
Well girls have a FANDABBYDOZYEEEE weekend and i will be popping on and off to catch up. OH is fab with GD, so I hope to get some puter time tonight.
Once again Thankyou all for being there for me, and to my New friends, once again sorry for not posting you personally yet, I am not usually so rude. Just busy at the moment but you will get one.
Weigh in day for me and OH tomorrow and I will update my signature and Im going to add add a challenge or maybe two
