    Hi Girls

Yes its totally doable. I think I may need to cheat though. I got the jason Veale Juice Master books and I bought myself a juicer last year (best buy ever) I have managed to lose 8 lbs in one week on juice before.

Its so good for you. I think to do weight loss properly you really need to do a proper detox. Im going to start on Monday and completely clean out my system and the weight should fall off me. I am just not really worried as I am going to see Michael bauble tomorrow night with my OH if he comes back from golf  . So Im sure there will be drinks before. So Monday I will start juicing.

I have to lose at least 5 - 6 lbs by next Saturday my bf's 30th and I want to wear my LBD. So it will be a boot camp week next week.

I am going to swim everyday and walk and have manners:rolleyes:

So hopefully it will work. It has too. When I am on a health kick like a juice week I dont ever crave sweet things as I have pineapple slices and they are so so sweet I love them. My body does not crave crap as it is being nurished by the goodness in the juices

What an inspirational post! I might try a boot camp week myself - not next week though as 2 friends' birthdays and a hen party next Friday!!! :rotfl:

    Hi Tara

I have a friends birthday and a hen next weekend so Ill defo need a boot camp the following week also so Ill join you.

    what we need
    1. Lemons and limes (for hot water to drink through out the day, it speeds up the metabolism and the citris juice helps break down the fats in other foods)
    2. A Dry body brush (to brush your entire body - working towards the heart, this stimulates the lymphatic system and helps get rid of the toxins in the body, the skin is an organ and it sometimes gets a little clogged and needs a little help)
    3. Lots and lots of veg, carrotts, cucumber, celery, spinach, broccali, salad
    4. Lots of fruit apples, oranges, pears, peaches, pineapple (what ever you like)
    5. WATER, WATER, WATER
    6. Determination
    7. Motivation
    8. Exercise
Oh and a juicer, if you dont have a juicer you could try use a blender for smoothies

It will be tough but the results are amazing.

OH and omega 3,6,9 or else other EFA (essential fatty acid)

Have been doing huge amount of research on why I carry most of my weight on my tummy

Sorry hit post and didnt finish my post.

The reason I carry most of my weight around my middle. I have rolls of fat on my tummy, I have just counted them I have 4 rolls:eek: , OMG how disgusting. And I also have love handles or lets not be polite about it. I have back fat, Yes people I have a fat back. How attractive is that.

I have flabby arms and my thighs are not too pretty and my bum is not exactly rady for gold hot pants:rolleyes: , but I most of my weight is around my middle.

Ok to get to the point. The research I have done has all come up with the same reason. I am lacking EFA's (essential fatty acids) Like omega 3, 6 and 9. There fore my body can not break down the lipids in the food I eat and stores it around my middle.
So I am off to buy some Omega's and some Udo's oils and hopefully this will make me feel and look better. As well as exercise and a proper diet of course.
Where do you carry your weight????

    Hi gang!

Sorry I didn’t get round to posting yesterday. It was a very long day at work (2nd job) – but on the up side I walked there and back (just under 2 miles each way). On the down side I gave in to the stupid eating desires for dinner and rather than stick to our healthy menu plan, I shared a takeaway portion of kebab and chips with Mr P.brickwall.gif All this in spite of knowing that I had Weightwatchers weigh in today…there really is no excuse – I was bad!! nono.gif

However, now I have confessed to all of you, so I am going to put it behind me, and am going to try better this week. I walked to weigh in this morning goodscales.gif and still managed to lose 1lb whew.gif(which just made me more cross, because I know that with all the extra walking I am doing at the moment, if I could just get what I put into my mouth under control, I could and should be losing more than this every week!). Also, if I don’t get my act together, I am never going to hit my target for Mr P’s birthday… frown.gif

Welcome to all the new posters,welcome2.gif and I hope all you regulars are having a good day. Icka – your juicing sounds like a great idea…I wish I was strong enough to try it, but I know I would crack, and probably end up going on a huge binge!! duh.gif

    P.S. Meant to say...

In answer to Jo's question: I live in London (central-ish - zone 2).

In answer to Icka's question: My excess weight is pretty much distributed all over at the moment (5 stone of it!):rotfl: , but as a general rule, I am a typical hourglass shape, but one in which most of the sand is in the bottom. So I have a particularly large bottom, "child-bearing" hips and chunky thighs (and calves...have always had problems buying boots!). I also tend to have a large chest - very much a mixed blessing...:o When I was a size 12 and they were a nice pert 34C, it was fine, but at the moment we are talking 40DD, which is a nightmare.:p However, my waist always remains (relatively) small in comparison to the rest of me - makes buying trousers impossible and I have to get jeans with at least a part-elasticated waist, otherwise my bottom and thighs dictate that the waist is about 6 inches too big for me. On the up side, when I have lost weight in the past, it does tend to go pretty much all over :T, so I just become a smaller hourglass figure (rather than just getting a flat chest or whatever), so that is what I am aiming for!! :D

Thankyou for the welcome everyone... seems like ages ago! Just re read all the posts to catch up

Everybody seems to be good at motivating which is defiantely what i need! I have finished work now and have a whole week off so can hopefully do a big decent shop to stock up so i dont think i need to run to tesco every few days and *accidentally* pick up some biscuits!

Today i walked to work and i walked home from work which was good. Bought a sandwich as forgot to take own lunch, not soo good. Picked up salad sandwich so think i'm getting there! Wasn't too bad a day until i got home..... there was a yummy yummy doughnut just waiting for me..... oops. Not so good.
Will try to be better tomorrow

BabyJayne: well done on the salad sandwich - very impressive! And as long as there was only the one doughnut waiting for you (and it wasn't nestling in a box with 5 of its friends!) I think you'll be OK! wink.gif

Buffy - congratulations on the walking!running.gif I am trying to do more walking at the moment (saves on bus fare and helps negate the fact that I am not so good at the food control thing! duh.gif), and I am finding that it is getting easier, the more I do of it - I could hardly walk the day after I did my first "long" walk, but although my feet still ache when I walk a long way, I am not nearly so stiff the next day any more...

Havne't got any words of wisdom for the Celebrations, though - unless you want to send me all the Malteser Teasers to dispose of... action-smiley-024.gif
