  • Hello all, I feel better after my barney with OH yesterday, but still a bit down that I never made it to slimming world because of it :( Have had a good day today though food wise, just gives me more time to lose weight before I start haha!
    Hope everyone has a great weekend whatever they are doing, lets keep fingers crossed for a bit of sunshine (we need a flippin miracle) :rotfl:

    Wantto, how do you walk so much everyday? you are an inspiration! I just do the odd walk once a week and I'm proud of myself but you leave us all in the shade! go girl!!!

    Good luck Piglet! You've done so well! and you're right it's not about how fast we take to reach our targets but that we reach them in the end! and hopefully remain sane along the way!

    Emmylou, I hate it when the treat you allowed yourself wasn't worth the calories! it can be heart breaking!!

    I'm doing ok, working long hours so not had a proper cooked meal for ages or been able to walk to or from work but on the plus side I am eating lots of fruit. I'm still overdoing my sin allowance everyday but it's not on choc, it's just my lunch, I love bread! I used to take pasta in and I'm going to do that next week.
    My fella wanted to take me out of dinner wed but I knew I wouldn't stick to the SW plan so I said I would eat first and we would just have drinks, I was good and had pasta but he just had pork stratchings and scampie fries at the pub! I think me losing weight might make him gain! lol!

  • Hi all. Been a very good girl this week in terms of what I've been eating and the exercise I've been doing and the result has been that I've went from 11 stone 7 lbs 2 weeks ago, to 11st 3 lbs this week. :beer: which I'm delighted about. Being back exercising again and have a renewed sense of vigour has been really good fun. I'm sure I'll plateau off but with football on over the weekend, I'm as well sitting on an exercise bike watching it rather than just watching it at home. Hopefully more is to come. I don't have a target weight as such, but something around 10 and a half should get me back to my fighting fit size and it's the health bit that's the real important thing for me.

    Like others on here, I have a great set of clothes that I no longer fit into which is a crying shame.
    Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

    Well ive done 35 mins of Davina today... but OH came back with a pack of muffins as a treat... so ive already ate one... kind of undoes my work out lol, but better than with no work out at all i guess! Still itching to get out for a walk but its STILL raining, seriously its been all day!

    coffee and toast and honey not butter for breakfast
    No lunch as at clinic with DD
    coffee and a one of them pink and white sandwich things at 3
    AND at 6pm waffles, beans, egg and sausages But it was only on a tea plate, 2 sausages and waffles were grilled, beans OK but i did fry the egg, no bread.

    So not too bad i thought. BUT night-shift tonight that will be my real tester, :eek: .

    and its rained here all day AND my electricity has been off 4 times because of it.

    Update again in the morning on my night-shift
