    Hi guys

Just popping in quickly to report a 3½lb loss this week at WW goodscales.gif, so thats last week's gain gone again with an extra ½lb for luck! Very happy and a good start to the weekend for me... pinkie.gif

SL - sorry to hear about poorly, but it sounds promising that he is talking about AA again. Good luck with the interview - let us know when it is so we can all spend the day with crossed fingers and sending positive vibes in your direction! ;)

Have just got to do some work (thumbsdown.gif  :p), and then will be reading backwards through the posts I've missed since last night!

Hope you are all having a good day... grouphug3.gif

Hell when the forum is down, isn't it?! Well done everyone on the weight loss.

Was at the gym again today myself. Another 819 calories burnt off in 1:43. Hopefully it will start turning me into a size 12 soon enough and getting me that t-shirt reward they are promoting at the moment!
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

    Yay,

Back up and running, I didn't realise the forums would be down until I tried to log on this morning:mad: , you really miss something when you can't have it, don't you!!

Well, poorly is still in the hospital but it seems to be all good just now. I went to visit last night, he is still very weak but isn't shaking anymore, the cold turkey method seems to have worked for now.

If he doesn't give up after what I saw on Thursday, he never will!! He was shaking so much, his body was lifting off the hospital trolley!! The difference this time though is that he remembers everything, so hopefully, that will be the end of it. His AA friend visited tonight and he seemed very positive, he thinks he has hit his low point and it will now be onwards and upwards. That's encouraging to hear as he knows all the ins and outs of this sort of stuff, we have only really experienced it with poorly. My dad seems to be good with it too though, as his brother had the same problem. He was a great wee guy, he didn't bother anyone but drank himself to death. It's a curse this drinking carry on. It costs a fortune and you feel awful the next day (or for the next week in my case).

What a cheery soul I am!!

Never mind, it's Sunday tomorrow and you all know what that means!!! Breakfast day!!!:T

    Good morning,

I was woken up at 7.46am with drilling coming from my neighbour's:mad: !!! Never mind, I've just watched the telly and spoke to DH on the phone. He's doing okay, but is getting fed up now, he might try and finish his posting at Christmas after all. I'm glad as he'll be home every weekend as his battalion are posted to yorkshire area. It's a 2 1/2 hour drive from home, so that's good!!

I'm just out the bath and have weighed myself, 11st 4lbs so am maintaining the loss. I'll need to get moving and start again, but I've had too much going on for healthy eating (excuses, excuses!!).

I don't know what I am up to today, I'm going for breakfast of course, I don't know if we'll need to go to the hospital today, my uncle might go, he works in Aberdeen and is only home at weekends, (my mum has 6 brothers including poorly who is the youngest).

My dad is going to fix up a spare area in the house which he used as an office, but is making it into a batchelor pad for poorly:rotfl:

It's strange, when he was younger, he was really good looking and girls used to chase him all the time, now he is frightened he will be left on his own, (his girlfriend left him). I told him that was the least of his worries just now, he should concentrate on getting better and then think of the ladies after that.

I had a good night last night, the wee fella was at my mum's visiting, his tooth is getting longer now, he keeps feeling for it with his tongue and looked like a lizard because of it:rotfl:

I'll need to get studying for my interview, I'd better get this job as it's got good perks, if you want to do further education like a degree or something, they will pay for it, so that's not to be sneezed at. I would probably stay in that company and try and work my way through the ranks. I'd better not jump the gun here, I'm imagining myself as the MD already and I've not even done the interview yet, I'm always like that, I was saying to my dad that when I'm in it, I'll try and get my young brother a job there too, he told me off!! Young brother works in a bank call centre, but could do a lot better, he was ill for years, didn't leave his bedroom for about 18months and had to leave a college course because of it. They have never gotten to the bottom of what caused the illness, but he will need to take tablets for the rest of his life.

    I am a cheery soul, aren't I!!:D

I'm going to get dressed and go for my fantastico breakfast now, see you all later,
